just watched a video of lea salonga as eponine in les mis, and omg her diction. you don't even need to search up the lyrics.
The higher you sing in your register the harder it is to enunciate and still create an open sound. I feel like she just makes it easier on herself to not enunciate in order to get those high notes comfortably. Just my theory
