You can't beat Porsche for absolute class in my opinion.
I'm dreaming though.
I do agree they are some of the classiest, most timeless cars in the world.
I have a Turbo S with a By Design Stage 4 kit…. 800hp. With the all wheel drive 0-60 in 2.3. Reliable, smooth and classy. I never understood the Porsche thing. Once you own one you are hooked! They are built soo soo well. lol good stuff :-)

I owned a ‘20 Carrera S cabriolet, got a Soul catted valveless exhaust and tuned it to nearly 600 HP. Simply one of the best sports cars ever made. Crazy fast, crazy loud, a total joy to drive. And after driving it for 11k miles, I sold it for more than I paid for it! Can’t go wrong with Porsche, but the only negative side is that they are relatively common
Yep all of the reasons they are awesome cars! I do agree you do see quite a bit of them which I'd say is the only downside but still not a huge deal

Man the r8 is a beautiful ride. Nothing compares to a Porsche 911 though, although I do have a curveball to throw you: 2024 Aston Martin vantage. It's an absolute beast but Porsche still beats it
I've always liked the styling of the Aston's but they don't hold their value at all unfortunately
I would simply get a 911 turbo s. The 911 has been a dream car of mine since I was a little kid. They are the epitome of a drivers car. Made , tailor made for true driving enthusiasts. I swear once you buy one you'll buy many more. But yeah I'd give up the r8 in a split second for a chance to own a new 911. Oh my gosh bro I'm excited for you. You gotta do it.

I miss my classic wale tail 911. Was the most exciting in the turns, lifting and effortlessly power sliding through on demand, back roads behind the original Twin Pine 🌲 🌲 Lincoln in Ephrata Pa climbing up through Clay and up the Furnace Hills Rd., Mountain.

Most of the old Targas were hard tops. I’m assuming you can still get it with the hardtop too. Way more sleek looking

Porsche 911 has always been my car, I’m more old school, but for you I would think the spyder would be a good R8 replacement. The GT3 is definitely a track car, but it’s a beauty. Looking good Christina💯
Even though the GT3 is a track car it can still be used as a daily if you just get the right options on it...can't be worse than our AMG GTR PRO haha

I'm a huge Porsche fan for sure I drove a GT3RS on track and it was incredible! I don't think that Targa fits you though.

I was not a Porsche guy for a long time. I do like them now. It’s weird, they just grew on me over time. I would still not buy one over a Lambo or Ferrari though. As far as the GT63… it depends on the price. If similar, go with Porsche! I think the Porsche is higher though.
Yeah I've always been a Lambo/Ferrari guy but Porsche has grown on me and now I'm starting to really like them...

Hi Jaret and Teens ! You should go for a Porsche 911 GTS which is much cheeper and much more usable for the streets than a GT3. Usually it is DIFFICULT to get an allocation for any of the GT cars (not the GTS) If you like winged cars you can go for the Aero kit, and you end up with a car that looks like a GT3 (from a distance) without any of the drawbacks 👍🏼

The Porsche build quality is the highest of the German cars. But there’s no replacing a V 10 it’s just a different type of feel in that boxer 6. Did you hear Jaret of the new supercar that Lexus has been working on for several years? It will be the new LFA called the LFR with a V8 TwinTurbo. Likely limited to just a few hundred units said hell who knows what the cost will be lol
haha yeah that's my fear as well...I'm going to drive Justin's GT3 and see how it feels compared to my R8 then I'll decide.
Porsche is a beautiful car but with the R8 no longer being produced i would keep it and get either a gt3 or an amg gt 63.

That Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a beautiful car, another of my favourites to race in Gran Turismo VR. The Audi R8 does look abit outdated but I don’t think I could part ways with an engine that sounds like that V10 🥵 it sounds phenomenal ❤️
