Daniela and Richard really had the chemistry..Of course RA is just so handsome.. and Daniela’s portrayal of Margaret complements it.. This is my most favorite BBC period drama ever!
How could you not fall in love with Richard Armitage's portrayal of John Thornton. The most delicious film I have seen. Do not know how I missed it in years gone by. I thought it was the American civil war film having the same title. The hurt song so fitting an d beautiful. Both the lead roles in this production were soooo good. I cannot stop watching it. Patsy

The words of the song truly reflect the momentary folly of Margaret in uttering those hurting words when John proposed.. Yet don't we do it all the time and then regret.. Luckily she saw the light that John is a good fellow who truly loves her.. Glad happy ending..
