This is an excellent example of stand-off that plagues SU carbs. You should never run SUs without either long rampipes or a filter because that stand-off is showing a waste of power. I would have expected that the purpose of a dyno run was to make max power, not to lose it with a poor installation.
Well the pistons stayed in the block if that's what you were testing but it sounded more like it nosed over at about 6k to me.
Your very close 6500 RPM it made max HP i did run it to 8500 RPM but i did not want him in the room at that RPM

May be you should spend more time on a dyno if ram tubes make more power i would have them on the SU's
