    I have ice pick boxcar acne scaring. And there’s nothing I can do about it, I tried all natural remdies, but still nothing. And I’m too broke to get lazer treatment😢 it makes me depressed knowing how good I used to look in my teens, now I’m afraid to even let girls see my face ): now that I’m 20. I cry knowing I’m going to look like this for a while😭

      Ice-pick scars are not difficult to treat! Check TCA peelings. It's a moderate to strong peeling that needs to be done at your medical provider, but it can be fairly cheap. It needs to be repeated and you will have to be diligent with sun protection but the downtime is a matter of a few days. I'm about to do it so can't tell you much more but I've watched a lot of videos and also read a lot about it.
      Surgery is also a great way to deal with all your ice pick scars at once, but it's more expensive, as it needs to be done by the dermatologist themselves (and not by a nurse, like for a peeling)

      Which one the cerave one?

    • @girleyreds11-11
      @girleyreds11-11 2 місяці тому

      @@talha_959 it was either cerave or cetaphil I alwats6confuse the two...I use the salicylic acid face was and mattifying lotion from cetaphil and its cleared me better than benzoyl peroxide and doesnt bleach fabrics like benzoyl peroxide does. But to save money I often but the CVS version of the resurfacing lotion because compare the ingredients and percentages IT'S ALL THE SAME!!! if you are sensitive get a resurfacing retinol that mentions for sensitive skin ir has the lowest % of retinol some vary in % like 2% vs 3-5% I believe. Warning: if you do have acne prone skin or occasionally get breakouts before you do the resurfacing retinoid treatment even if it's just once a week in the beginning make sure you do a 2-week regiment of really cleaning out your pores with a exfoliating face wash with salicylic acid in it and some kind of toner and overnight salicylic moisturizing lotion the one I use from Cetaphil you can wear it under makeup you can wear it all day long I wear it at night when I go to bed when my body is regenerating and Skin Care works the best because you're sleeping and that's when your skin goes to work or repairing and getting the best out of ingredients you're putting on your face but after that and again give yourself a good week or two because the retinol will start pulling things out of your skin which means you could start to break out and then you'll be clear so it gets worse before it gets better but if you suck everything out of your pores as much as you can with the sound of a acid and really get yourself as clean as you possibly can and the exfoliating face wash will get all that dead skin off, I have a Clarisonic Mia that I use in addition to exfoliating face washes that I use to kind of get that dead layer of skin off you're going to have to suffer through that week of breakout and trying to heal your skin and it's going to be a nightmare I've done it both ways and it's always worked out better when I do a good clean out of my pores first. And remember do not use the retinoid every single night I don't know anybody that can handle that. Your skin might get a little red after the first few applications a little goes a long way you don't need to slap it on your skin but I would recommend in the very beginning if you're not used to it a day or two after your first night depending on the redness the next day and then get yourself on a regimen of doing it maybe three times a week I know some people that can do it up to four or five but I like to give myself a day in between so I can do a moisturizing collagen in salicylic acid lotion on the nights I'm not doing the resurfacing cream and when they say keep it away from under eyes they're not kidding it really dried out under my eyes because I went too high and I had to suffer through dry skin and looking like I had bags under my eyes until I could bring moisturize myself again for about a week and a half so I learned my lesson there. Also around your mouth if you have sensitive or fair skin watch getting it too close to your lips smile lines going to the corner of your mouth until your skin is used to the retinol I recommend not getting too close he will suffer dry skin whether you have oily skin or not which is what I have when people with oily skin dry themselves out purposely thinking that's going to stop the acne prone issues or looking greasy that our skin wants to reproduce even more to get us back to that oily skin level that's why the moisturizing salicylic acid works so good for me because the salicylic acid cleans out my pores so there's no junk there and the moisturizing gives my skin what it needs so it stops creating the oil on its own oily skin I have oily hair follicles I was the type of person that I would get greasy looking hair after 24 hours of not washing it I stopped washing my hair every single day now now I do it every 2 days sometimes I've been able to go three or four days without washing it and just using a dry shampoo on the third and fourth day I don't have oily hair follicles anymore my hair doesn't get greasy looking it's fantastic because I'm not stripping my hair and drying it out with constant shampoos over and over in a short period of time. I'm letting my hair get greasy at the top and then I just brush it two or three times a day brushing that grease through the strands and my hair feels healthy so my scalp has stopped over producing oil I'm not a doctor I'm not a dermatologist people might say I don't know what I'm talking about but I know my body and I know what I experienced and I'm just passing along what I do and what's working for me and if somebody has the same situation is me what does it hurt to try :-)

      @@Jay-i9g5c hmm it sounds like its just problems with the sunscreen formulation cause not all sunscreens are like that. I had that same problem with some of the sunscreens i was using in the past too before I tried the beauty of joseon's famous sunscreen (the relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ PA++++ one). Its formulation is perfect I can assure u it wont feel greasy like that since it is super lightweight and absorbs easily. The only problem with it though is that you MUST cleanse at night if you are going to wear it but it sounds like you already do that which is good.
      The sunscreen I mentioned above is quite moisturising though so if you would rather have a more hydrating one cause it tackles oily skin better the skin1004 madagascar centella hyalu-cica water-fit sun serum would be better for you
      (sorry i went on a rant 😭these products are amazing but if you feel that they are a bit too pricy for sunscreen thats understandable)

      Do research online for what type of scars you may have before investing into products or procedures. Certain scars need certain ingredients in products or special procedures such as microneedling or laser treatments. Go visit a dermatologist and they would probably give you retinol or hydroquinone, if not ask,it’s better effective than over the counter.
