The part where Rob says, "Don't do that, Thor. That's the end of the world!" I totally had a flashback to watching Dave Chapelle's old special Killing Them Softly on HBO. "Don't do that (word I won't say that starts with N), that'll get you 5 to 10!" 😂😂😂
"Let me know if you want me to cover this story" Rob, my man, you should literally cover every single comic story in existence. You know we'd watch it.
Magni, in actual Norse mythology, is one of the sons of Thor and is called the god of strength in the Norse pantheon. Which is kind of interesting that in the Marvel comics version of Thor’s son that it was he that caused his father to reverse everything that he did when he went mad as king Thor. In fact I wouldn’t mind actually seen the son of Thor Magni, be in a relationship with Hulk’s daughter Lyra, if they ever decide to bring her back.
I believe he was actually supposed to be so strong he didn't need Thor's belt that even Thor needed to be able to wield his hammer if I remember correctly. It's hard to keep the actual myths, D&D pantheon mythology, Marvel Comics mythology (and it's myriad alternate universes), and DC and Independent comics mythologies straight anymore 😅
Well, in the proses, Modi is also needed to wield the hammer, as they're a bit stronger than Thor, but not neither are twice as strong as he was(since his build doubled his strength).
@@GhostMiku Thor has many sons. Hulk, Namor, Galactus, Beta Ray Bill, Loki, Those Who Sit Above In Shadow, Vegeta, Silver Surfer, Sentry/Void, Gorr, Raiden, etc.

Feel like Marvel is shifting things around to make Thor into an Odin like character and perhaps have Magni take his place on Midgard - something that can be reflected in the MCU as well
Donald Blake was condemned to a living death, bound to the void between the Nine Realms and their respective afterlives. In Norse mythology, the honored dead gain entrance to Valhalla, but those who die of natural causes or lived a life of disgrace fall to Helheim, a realm presided over by Hela, daughter of Loki and Angrboda (Yes, MCU Hela was a child of Odin, but the mythological and comic versions are not.) Those judged to be men and women of good nature are allowed to pass into Niflheim, where they are allowed to indulge themselves and socialize amongst others of comparable virtue. Donald Blake was not allowed within those realms, as he existed as a displaced spirit bound to a living vessel… just imagine being locked away in complete isolation without so much as the perception of time. Sounds like the poor guy had every right to turn on Thor and instead of understanding his plight, Thor elected to torture him in an even worse way.
@@Enraged-Gecko I totally agree! Don Blake was a physician and a good man, caught up in Odin's scheme to teach Thor a lesson. Magni is from the Future Timeline that future Thor uses the Odin-Force then Thor-Force to send a message back with his memories to his younger self to prevent that future from ever happening. This new timeline results in Thor losing access to the Odin-Force in the present timeline as it judged him unworthy based on his future self's actions. This sets the Foundation for then current timeline Thor to become Rune King Thor due to it forcing him to seek out a different power. And now I am going to go back and reread that entire series again haha. Clearly, a new hierarchy for Marvel is required after the one you did a couple weeks ago. Can we get a DC hierarchy please? Knowing it will change over time too.
The last we saw of Donald Blake Loki had given him the title The God of Lies as it was Loki himself who condemned Donald to the same torture Odin imposed upon Loki, a short time later a symbiote fell through a crack in the ceiling of Donald's prison and seeming bonded to him what happened to Donald after that nobody knows.
This story is interesting. These new generation of heroes are going to reflect the MCU, but if it tanks... we'll get og characters again. Gotta love it.
