The tea cart turned out beautiful. I have a tea cart that I am going to paint, was not thrilled to hear that you thought it was a harder piece to do. Maybe I'll wait until I have a few more easier pieces under my belt. Love your videos, you are such a good teacher.
I learned so much from this. You answered a question I've been wondering for a while about sealing and wax. Thank you it was worth the trouble because its really beautiful!!!
I love the Colonel Mustard/Collard Greens mix, you did an amazing job on placing the sunflowers.. absolutely gorgeous 💖🌻💝 and The 2nd blend was perfection.. everything came together beautifully. I know it was a lot of work but it turned out absolutely stunning.
This turned out beautifully, Brandy! I'm sad to hear you say it was a bear ... I have an antique tea cart that belonged to my grandmother and hope to refinish it for my daughter-in-law.
I literally just got started on mine yesterday. I’m an amateur and haven’t progressed to blending. Mine is going to be white with black Parisian transfer. I got it for $40 already stripped and sanded. They were moving and it didn’t fit on the moving truck. Got it from a local garage sale group.
Brandy…you always teach…thank you for that. Your work is stunning. I have never seen a piece I didn’t love once you transformed it. …can you tell me if you ever have done cherry kitchen cabinets? Mine need redoing. I have painted furniture for years but never did stained cabinets. I have great equipment…just wondering if Boss sprays well. Thanks again!
Thank you for saying that! Means a lot. Here is a blog on oak cabinets, process would be very similar brushedbybrandy.com/my-first-kitchen-cabinet-chalk-paint-makeover/
When you mentioned that the size of the cart top did present a challenge to blend the paints, I wondered whether you’d recommend using a paint extender. I don’t have any experience using one but have read about them. Do you think it might be useful when the area to be blended is large? I have a circular drop leaf table that I’m considering doing a blend and and it’s large in size.
Love it. You always doing an excellent job!!! I can’t find mini brash on your link. Could you please send me an additional link so I can order them? Thank You. And have a great save 4th of July with your families. No hurry for my orders.
You'll find them under "synthetic brushes" on the Dixie Belle site...dixiebellepaint.com/?aff=23 They've been selling out a lot.. so keep an eye out because they go in and out of stock. I try to post on FB when I know that they are back!
@@BrushedbyBrandy Thank you very much to always answer my questions!!! You are so professional that’s why I am in the transition from other paint to Dixie paint. I just got lots to learn about this pain.
I love what you, you do beautiful work. But that God awful music is hard to listen to. It's the same 4 or 5 notes repeated over & over & over & over & over & over.(get my meaning?) Why not put ocean waves, or rain or something like that on. I had to mute it, then didnt know when you were talking. And I wanted to hear that part of the video.
This is another piece of Art!!! Just Beautiful 🌼🌼🌻🌻🌻
I just picked up 2 tea carts and am excited to give them a makeover. This one fits my style perfectly!! I also LOVE sunflowers!

Hi Brandy, did your teacart have veneer on? Mine does and is damaged in a few places, so I guess before painting I need to remove it.
Most piece have some sort of veneer, its much easier to repair than remove if possible
