Just completed my own Naked Survival run, Hardcore mode, with an additional difficulty mod (huge mistake). Died so many times in Courier's Mile. Had to VATS the weapons out of the marked men's hands several times, then beat them to death one at a time with Blade of the West. Deathclaws were actually easier since they don't regenerate and I could cripple their legs with explosives.
Out of all the DLC for Fallout, this one was and still is my absolute favorite. From the difficulty of the enemies and build up of Ulysses as a character, its truly the end-game experience a game of this franchise requires. Really hope Jon explores the Courier's Mile, love Lonesome Road!!

Here's a bit of knowledge, friend. 1: NPC's can and will phase through objects 2: Do NOT let ED-E (or any follower for future FNV videos/gameplay) bump into you while sneaking near enemies or else it will trigger the [CAUTION] or [DANGER] status prematurely. 3: Crouch and aim or, at the least, AIM! Do not lazily point your crosshair at enemies without aiming unless you plan on attracting them to a particular location or to run & gun backwards. 4: Pickpocketing only works when the sneak status is at least at [CAUTION] for each individual NPC. This means you can still pickpocket an oblivious NPC while being chased by an aggressive NPC.
To be fair, normal ghouls hardly do, but these are marked men who, as Ulysses says, are pretty much only alive because of rad healing. This can come up in your first conversation with him (there's a few checks but to get a bit of clarification about it but you can still get the gist without them). Jon was told of this last episode so he should have been aware of it.
Huckleberry I find that it makes a great game to play whilst listening to podcasts. Doing mindless minute man quests and building settlements is just engaging enough to keep my hand busy.
I recently decided to play through New Vegas again after like 5 or 6 years since I last played it and I guess that I never used the riot helmet back then because I don’t remember the sneak sight. But to be honest even though it only helps slightly in dark areas, I feel like the ranger in the intro activating whatever he actives in his helmet before shooting the fiend, and I have to admit that it makes me feel pretty badass 🤠IMO it should’ve been in all the variants of the ranger helmets as well
They probably didn't know how to put it into the NCR Ranger Helmet, but once they had a whole basegame + DLCs under their belt, they were able to jury-rig something together in the Creation Engine. On the other hand, "Enchantments" are a status effect that each piece of gear can have attached to it in the GECK, so I am surprised that it wasn't setup that way in the first place.
I need more than one part of this per week in my life Jon... Make it at least bi-weekly please.... or a 2 Hour whopper of an episode would be great! Keep up the great content dude! Loving this playthrough so far!
Mikehibs94 Nah, Jon would breeze through the series in a month or two. I prefer once a week to savor each episode, and the wait makes it more satisfying.
So, I've played the hell out of Lonesome Road, and there were a couple bits of treasure you missed that will be no risk to go get now, if you want them. 1: Guns and Bullets, under the desk in the armory. 2: ED-E circuit board, under a desk in Hopeville HQ 3: Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor, in the basement of the people butchering This really fascinates me, I've done a few runs where I come in at an absurdly low level, but not 1, and I bring SOME stuff. I may need to attempt this myself!
Ive never done lonesome road, because the game always softlocks my charecters or something. Like I went into hoover dam to buy ammo and weapons for lonesome road, but every time I exited the dam I crashed. A tear shed for JimBurger9000
One of the major reasons to collect Ulysses's logs, which I think you hinted at, is also doable through collecting all of ED-E's upgrade kits. Since you like to show off different ways to resolve a problem, I thought you might want to keep it in mind for later.
Panzer Soldat 115 a mod for fallout New Vegas, it's set a few years after the events of New Vegas, and everything's gone to shit, the only objective is to escape the mojave
fallout new vegas dust is a total conversion mod for fallout new vegas that makes the mojave hell on earth, it disables fast travel, adds enemies from lonesome road into the mojave, and automatically enables hardcore mode. The mod does end but you must complete a series of tasks in order to escape. If you haven't checked out the mod already than i highly recommend giving it a go.

Azzabackam I've never noticed that before so I can't comment but when he is shooting first from a distance he should still ADS
Too much of a monologue(r)? for me. I preferred Joshua Graham, but that's just my opinion.

Here's a bit of knowledge, friend.
1: NPC's can and will phase through objects
2: Do NOT let ED-E (or any follower for future FNV videos/gameplay) bump into you while sneaking near enemies or else it will trigger the [CAUTION] or [DANGER] status prematurely.
Jon, your gieger counter was going off the entire time you were fighting the marked men. You need to lure them away from the radiation.
Jack Whitson I also forget that ghouls heal with radiation, because in Fallout 4 it doesn't count for crap. Yes I play alot of fallout 4
All I could think of watching you kill that one marked man: "What is dead may never die"
Marked Superman = new favorite thing about FNV
"The world just looks like this anyway. Nevermind."
As much as I love watching these, Jon I really do, your aim when you are out of VATS even at point blank range is hilarious to watch.
Jon: ED-E feels like cheating
What Jon is thinking:I will use E-DE though
Jon: "What do you have?"
Marked Man Ravanger: "A Knife!"
Jon: "No!"
I need more than one part of this per week in my life Jon... Make it at least bi-weekly please.... or a 2 Hour whopper of an episode would be great! Keep up the great content dude! Loving this playthrough so far!
Mikehibs94,
Mhm
Mikehibs94 I don't think you mean bi-weekly is that not every other week?
Uisca It can mean both, but in this scenario I think everyone knows what I mean😂 Having slight withdrawal symptoms from it already!
yeah bi-weekly would be nice
Mikehibs94 Nah, Jon would breeze through the series in a month or two. I prefer once a week to savor each episode, and the wait makes it more satisfying.
So, I've played the hell out of Lonesome Road, and there were a couple bits of treasure you missed that will be no risk to go get now, if you want them.
1: Guns and Bullets, under the desk in the armory.
2: ED-E circuit board, under a desk in Hopeville HQ
3: Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor, in the basement of the people butchering
This really fascinates me, I've done a few runs where I come in at an absurdly low level, but not 1, and I bring SOME stuff. I may need to attempt this myself!
You forgot a revolver on the bathrooms floor with the bullets in it, in the headquaters fyi lol also good job with superman
So happy you're doing another fallout play through, I love them!
Ive never done lonesome road, because the game always softlocks my charecters or something.
Like I went into hoover dam to buy ammo and weapons for lonesome road, but every time I exited the dam I crashed.
A tear shed for JimBurger9000
I don't think I've ever laughed harder than watching you go one vs. one with the Marked Superman. Well done.
Joh just add the exp in the command console
John, the tapes are super important for the ending!! If you are attempting the peaceful solution, you will need the tapes!
Is that a bacon tree? No, its a Hambush!
I'm so happy New Vegas is back, much love Jon
Uyleses log: quite sticky, didn't flush easily but I'm glad I had it. Sorry I had to lol
Jesus Himself
NO! sToP! IM SCaReD FoR LiFe!
Wow. Classy.
I remember accidentally finding all 6 of ulysseuses messages on my first playthrough and feeling like a gangster
local marked man is fucking invincible
One of the major reasons to collect Ulysses's logs, which I think you hinted at, is also doable through collecting all of ED-E's upgrade kits. Since you like to show off different ways to resolve a problem, I thought you might want to keep it in mind for later.
I feel like Marked Superman really needs to be an end card.
...where the rivers are made of Quantum, and the mountain tops are fizz!
A PARK WITH EVERY MINEABLE SAFETY STANDARD SET
Nail gun. More like a machine pistol with a drum magazine. Why does a nail gun need a 90 nail drum and an automatic fire mode.
Lucas Therrien For fun.

Sometimes you need to get the job done fast, and beauty isn't an issue.
America
Because in Fallout timeline, there is no OSHA to slow you down (by protecting you from yourself...)
Game: 31% chance of getting head
Jon: unfortunate
Dis some good shit jon👌👌
I love you. You sound like a mixture of Nerd3 and the narrator from Battle Block Theatre. It's awesome :D
after this series is over do you plan on playing fallout new vegas dust?
SCRUNGUS boi
SCRUNGUS What is New Vegas dust?
Panzer Soldat 115 a mod for fallout New Vegas, it's set a few years after the events of New Vegas, and everything's gone to shit, the only objective is to escape the mojave
fallout new vegas dust is a total conversion mod for fallout new vegas that makes the mojave hell on earth, it disables fast travel, adds enemies from lonesome road into the mojave, and automatically enables hardcore mode. The mod does end but you must complete a series of tasks in order to escape. If you haven't checked out the mod already than i highly recommend giving it a go.
This really shows you how important your equipment is
marked superman more like recovery leech seed giga drain bulbasaur am i right........... ba dam tish
ishan upadhaya fucking leech seed giga drain bulbasaurs are the bane of all my squirtles existences, it even makes a fight against my charmander a little difficult

I knew this part should come in a week, anyway I was checking your channel everyday
Please upload this more frequently, every day without episode 2 was painful
Anyone else notice how this guy really emphasizes the last syllable of his sentences sometimes, it reminds me of forest gump
Why can't this be everyday D;
Because it would get boring, and would end sooner.
A thought that came to me over the course of the video - Something that would be interesting to see (I hesitate to call it a "challenge" run, probably more of a gimmick run) would be a complete playthrough of the main game, where the only weapon he's allowed to use is the Faderator.
I know you're a low level and all but I'd like to see you fight rawr and find some Way to beat him :)
I have no idea why am i replying to this 4 years old comment, but after getting BTFO by Rawr approximately 15 times I went to the wiki and learned you can flare gun it to a corner and blow up the warhead, killing him instantly
This guy is really smart and knows a lot about fallout
Those are the weakest nukes I've ever seen
That very hard-locked locker at the armory has another set of riot gear+helmet, a riot shotgun and some 12-gauge rounds.
