A lot of those "kill enemy X with weapon Y" work in a funny way: It only seems to matter what you are holding when the enemy dies. You can hold a different weapon while reverse-pickpocketing grenades onto your enemies, and it will count because it looks at what you are holding, not what you killed them with. On the reverse, if you use your last dynamite to kill something, it won't count, because you're holding nothing when the enemy dies.

chance's knife is actually really good. I soloed the entire game with just it. the knife is especially strong as most of the perks you need like cowboy, light touch, and grunt all have low level and skill requirements. you can actually drop int down quite a bit as you won't need to invest in as many skills as you would in a normal gun build.
Congrats Jon on confronting your fears. I was surprised to see Jon get so close to the spore plants, and was just waiting for him to make a comment about them being creepy... I wasn’t disappointed.
Shoot Benny's gun arm rather than Maria - I think it's a better bet for making him drop it, and it doesn't take large bites out of Maria's condition (making it easier to kill Benny with it).
During my hundreds of hours playing new vegas, I have done pretty much all the challenges. Your commentary almost feels better than when I did it myself.
I remember back when I did, "you don't belong in this world" I went deathclaw hunting with sticks of dynamite... I'm mad now. Edit: I got my challenges mixed up.
There's a challenge you missed called "Benefit or a Hazard" where you have to kill fifteen robots with the 5.56mm pistol or That Gun. The name of the challenge is a reference to the movie Blade Runner, and the 5.56mm pistol looks exactly like Deckard's pistol.
For Against All Tyrants, you can kill Vulpes in the New Vegas strip when he gives you the Mark of Caesar, and if you've left Nipton alone before this, there will be a different named Legionnaire names Gabban there that counts for the challenge when you kill them, as he will replace Vulpes for Keep Your Eyes on the Prize, and Cold, Cold heart. The only issue is that this is after you get the Mark, and in Act two, killing him will cause all Legionnaires to be hostile towards you.
The fun of those Legion/NCR challenges is in studying the lists of valid targets and figuring out who will live and who will die. For example, on the NCR side, I prioritize people with neutral karma (there are some with good karma), followed by people with bad attitudes and people who disappear from the world after your primary interaction with them. Cassandra Moore is my second-from-final NCR target, and I make certain to take her out right before the endgame sequence since all hell breaks loose when she dies. Seeing as how she epitomizes Obsidian's very clever tipoff that the player may have been tricked by the NCR's amiable citizens into thinking they were the good guys, she absolutely deserves her fate. For the Legion, there's no real choice but to save it all for the big confrontation in the Fort, which is fair, as at least two other challenges have to be accomplished there at the same time. Edit: I'll add that Ronald Curtis has unique Wild Wasteland dialogue that can only be heard if you make the "mistake" of tipping him off to the fact that you're investigating the leaks. There's a mod called Wild Wasteland Checklist that maintains a tally of the Wild Wasteland content one discovers, so I make a point of getting this dialogue from him, even though it does mean the monorail blows up.
Tricky way to get your weapons in the fort one time - if you can c-4 all the praetorians in the bunker and kill them at the same time, there will be no one to take your weapons back, and if I recall correctly, no Legion Infamy is gained if they are all killed at the same time. If you pull it off, on that one occasion, you can carry all your weapons into the Fort proper. It's perfect for killing Ceasar, although it is hard to pull off and sometimes recquires saving and reloading. You can also drop it before it's confiscated at the entrance, but that feels more like a glitch than a clever exploit.
That chance guy was in one of the comics. He started a fight with some Caesars legion and on top of his injuries in the fight he was trying to go cold turkey. Then because they were traveling together and Benny didn't want to be slowed down he gave chance something that killed him.
