I'm curious about your exposed air filter. I recently had a 5th Gen, 3.0L Whipple supercharger installed in my 300C. When I saw the air filter was fully encased, I asked if that didn't simply defeated the purpose of the performance hood air intakes. The mechanic said the Whipple instructions specifically say to use the fully enclosed factory air filter mount, and that the performance hood still service a key element by providing additional fresh, cool air under the hood.
Nice whip !!! New subscriber ! I am about to install my whipple and wanted to know if the lower pulley needs to be changed or any advice for pump gas use
Looks and sounds awesome....what type of fuel are you running? I am thinking about upgrading my redeye to the whipple.... He tips , recommendations, or regrets you can share....I want to make the right decision
I run Ignite E90. My recommendation would be based on whatever your goals are for the car. The only regret I have is how much money I've put into the car lol
Can I daily this with a z automotive tazer ?, I wanna put a whipple supercharger on my 5.7 for the whine and power but Idk if it will have issues or not as a daily for work
@@KelleysGarageOfficial honestly I’m thinking the same brother, just blew my mind that they are coming out with one didn’t hear about it until today. Built 426/Built trans we can push out 1500HP crank so no big deal
I heard about the 3.8 coming out before I purchased the 3.0. I didn't want anymore downtime so I wasn't going to wait for it to come out. Plus you can still make a ton of power on the 3.0. I'm more than happy with it right now😎
@@KelleysGarageOfficial god bless bro glad to hear that mine is still being built in the shop, you can see it on my short videos at the bottom of my page 🔥🤝
What AN fittings did you use on the blower hoses...im getting same blower stage 2 with 112 throttle body and their fuel rails for my 19 challenger hellcat redeye....like how clean it looks.
@Kelley's Garage thanks for your help....I found the ones for the blower on whipple website and the other connections on site you said....appreciate it.
Congratulations sounds great… good luck..🍀😎
Love it man. Can’t wait till I get mine for my 5.7

My lower is still stock. No need to change it especially if you're staying on pump🤙

How is it holding up ? Any bearing issues or weird noises ?
What happened with the bmr ice tank won't it fit with the whipple?
So I can do this myself and put my own tune on it right?

SOUNDS LIKE FREEDOM!!!!
Awesome... where did you get those an fittings for the whipple head unit?
www.redhorseperformance.com/
I have a stage 2 whipple 3.0, did you hear about the brand new 3.8L whipple for the hellcats? You thinking about swapping them out or no?
Nosirr. I'll be rocking the 3.0 till the wheels fall off. My car still has stock motor and trans. I don't see a need for the .8L difference.

-12an Redhorse fittings
@@KelleysGarageOfficial I will have to call to get part numbers for the 4 fittings....thanks....great build and video
@Dragon Banks you can just Google it and they'll populate. They're nothing special, -12an 90° x4 is all that's needed.
@Kelley's Garage thanks for your help....I found the ones for the blower on whipple website and the other connections on site you said....appreciate it.
@Dragon Banks sounds like you went the expensive route lol
Glad you got it sorted out🤙
I’m about to put a 3.0 on my cat have you had any issues or has it been solid?
No issues as of yet. Car runs strong.
Is it worth change the stock redeye supercharger for those superchargers?
Yes 100%
Is it a 6.4?
Negative. 6.2
is the whipple the only thing you had to upgrade or what?
Negative. The car also has all the necessary supporting mods to accommodate the Whipple.
thats what im asking what all the mods you had to do to be able to support a whipple
@@KelleysGarageOfficial
Id1700's and a fuel system. It's best to ask your tuner. They all have their own preferences.
Why did it take so long to start?
The car sat for over 9 months, also had to prime the fuel system since I added new fuel rails, injectiors and -8an lines.
Is this better than the stock
Yes
