Hey man, I've recently had this problem. Driving normal the car runs fine but it's only when pulling in 2nd gear and going to 3rd or 4th that the car would lose power and the check engine light would flash and go away after 30 secs. I replaced my spark plugs and was pissed when the car still did the same. I'm curious to know if the upgraded coils help with the sluggish in 3rd-4th gear.
I’m still having this issue it’s weird honestly, I changed the battery, coils, alternator, and still having the problem. I was thinking about taking it to ford so they can run a full diagnostics and when they find the problem I change it. I won’t be able to do that but if you do please let me know. I already spent over 1k and still nothing I feel your pain. I’d say just spend the 100 to get a mechanic from ford check the car and then change that part. Let me know what happens 🙏
@@dragoncastillo3184 yeah I might just do that cus man it can be Fuel injectors, o2 sensors, coils, MAF, crank position sensor, vacuum leak, gaskets, ETC.... I'm not Gonna look through all that but tbh just rn as it is it's fine it's only every once and a while when I get on it but I noticed instead of slamming ur foot on the gas to easy in on it instead.
