Hell yes! This is the final thing I needed for my modded 3DS to get the complete Nintendo handheld experience (3DS, NDS and GB)! Hoping I'll be able to also do GB and GBC similarly to the GBA method. Thanks! :)

is there any way you can change the display on the games? im playing pokemon fire red and there isnt any issues but the display. some of the top is cut off and is mirrored to the bottom.

Thanks a lot man, I downloaded pokemon emerald and it works sweet, the only thing that bothers me a bit is that the title of the game doesn't appear below the banner like other virtual consoles, doesen't affect at all but it's strange

Hi, thank you for your help! I could install and play without any flaw a lot of gba titles, but I couldn’t put the “Virtual Console” banner, containing both the title and the release date of the game. It just doesn’t pop up to me, even if I enter and modify it.

my friend wants mod his wii u with tiramisu. Can I send him a google drive of my sd plus wup installer and NUsspli and homebrew launcher andn usbloader? Will it still work the same and properly?
I played 3 games and at first glance they seemed to work fine. But for some reason all 3 of them keep crashing at very specific places while the music keeps playing. Klonoa 2 crashes as soon as I pick a save file, Pokemon Emerald crashes in front of a trainer on route 111 and Minish Cap crashed when I was entering the minish town. I have a normal 3DS XL. Is it just the console (since most people seem to have the new models) or are there other possibilities?
So I followed the Dropbox steps and all files are present but the .exe doesn’t open anything, just brings me to a copying.txt that says error during extraction, I’ve tried from step one multiple times but no luck. On Linux desktop, idk if that makes a difference here.
I got a question but I was unable to join to server due to the ✅ button not activating for some reason, I booted up the game and all is fine but the screen appears to be slightly shift above that it just doesn’t fit the screen so I was wondering how to fix it

SORRY, I guess I was really not paying attention during your home brew and tiramisu video and I just now realized that you backed up the nand to the sd card, so my question now is, should I copy those specific files to a safe folder on my pc just to be safe?
Correct! I'm not sure if I actually did that in the video but you should definitely place those files into a folder on your pc :)
@@funkyscott47 Well in the video when we dumped the nand, the BIN files were created on the SD card which if I’m correct, can be used to unbrick the Wii U if it ever does get bricked, sorry I’m a little new to the Wii U modding scene so I’m gonna sound like a noob 😂

There are n64 emulators, but they don't run great. Better to stick with the games that got ported like sm64 or ocarina of time.
Hello, i have same problem with every GBA's converted games on my O2DS. "Failed to apply 1 firm patch(es)". How i can resolve this? I have the latest version of Luma3ds and alredy tried to sostitute boot.firm 😢
Is there an alternative method to play Game Boy Advance games on my homebrewed 3DS? The problem is I'm a Chromebook user and I cannot open and run the "exe" file. Your other tutorials worked out for me (homebrewing, adding the h-shop and the playing DS games tutorial).
Twilight menu ++ should work fine, this method is more for convenience to run the game from home screen instead of opening tm++

@@TheWave0fDoom89 so I found out you need to re format your SD card to 64 not 32.
Quicker way around it is recreate the CIA and just inject into retro arch mGBA You still get the nice looking artwork.

However, I've come into the problem where I manage to install+delete my .cia gba games but then when I boot it up, it displays the GBA title screen, then the screen goes white and doesn't move past that.
I've had the same problem. Not sure what's happening.
@@Yeshuah6 I figured out pretty quickly that it was simply the program I used to create the .cia file (it was different than the one in this tutorial, an outdated one I"m sure), initially I used this tutorial JUST to see how to install the .cia file while I already had it.
Anyone know if this works for max? I already homebrew my 3ds, downloaded all the other apps, and got everything set up for Pokémon unbound but I can’t finish it since NSUI is for windows so I can’t convert it to cia files

Is there a way to back up the save files for these cia GBA games? I got a new 3ds and I wanted to transfer my save data from Pokèmon Ruby to my new 3ds. The game doesnt show up on checkpoint

Just used this for the gba version of NES Legend of Zelda. NIUS worked fine, cia installed no problem, but then the game isnt running very well. Crashed at the register name screen a few times and then when I could start seems like Link is moving really slowly and system is slow to respond to inputs but everyrhing else is full speed? Any ideas? Try again with a different gba file or is it Legend of Zelda itself thats the problem?
Uh i need help here. I got Pokemon fire red and emerald on my 3ds using this method and when i load them up i get the warning about sleep mode but im greeted with a blank screen and the game doesnt load

I have a probleme...i play minish cap on my 3ds but the top of the screen is cut and appears on the bottom
instructions worked but i've had an issue with ALL my injects - the banner image (game system part) is miscolored and blocky/pushed together, with the art being de-centered and small (img file size doesnt matter, i've tried larger pics and it didn't change) on the screen part of the banner image. game itself works totally fine, but the banner being so wonky makes me a little :/ when looking at it lol. anyone else have this issue?

@@blackflowera4292 yes there isn’t a issue for emerald gba ds games other wise if you try to put full screen usually show the bottom line of text twice

Ok last edit: I figured out how to do the save files, but it turns out the screen problem is still prevalent. It's sporadic though, and only stops like everiy other time I boot up the game. (It's Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga if that matters.) should I try the process again with a different rom?

i have the same issue, for some games, pokemon leafgreen for example, when you press the home menu button, the screen moves a bit and isnt cut anymore, with pokemon saphire, the screen just gets more messed up then before, thats what happens with my games
