    Music: Hank Woji
    Speaker Bio:
Andrew L. Seidel is Vice President of Strategic Communications for American United, an author, and an attorney who’s defended the First Amendment for more than a decade. Andrew is the author of two books: The Founding Myth: Why Christian Nationalism Is Un-American (2019) and American Crusade: How the Supreme Court is Weaponizing Religious Freedom (forthcoming in September). He’s also co-editor of an academic text, Law and Religion: Cases and Materials (Foundation Press, 2022) 5th Edition, with Prof. Leslie Griffin of UNLV law school.
    Musician Bio:
In the Spring of 2001 Hank moved to Houston, TX, fell in with a bunch of great Texas songwriters, and found his new musical voice as a Singer Songwriter. But it was his chance move, in 2009, to the far West Texas desert town of Terlingua that has most reshaped his life and his music.
Critics have described Hank’s music as “acoustic-wielding, sharply observed, Americana all the way” and being “in the best tradition of the Texas troubadours like Guy Clarke, Townes Van Zandt and Butch Hancock”
Hank has released five critically acclaimed self produced CDs: “Medallion” - 2005, “American Dreams” - 2008, “There Was A Time” - 2010, “Holy Ghost Town” - 2013 and “The Working Life” - 2014. He also has produced three CD singles and the CD “Just Words” by Eileen Kozloff in 2017. He is currently working on his 6th CD, scheduled for release in early 2022.
Over his 40+ year music career, Woji has shared the stage or performed with such diverse artists as: Johnny Winter, Hot Tuna, Jimmy Cliff, The Nighthawks, The Radiators, Jonathan Byrd, Jesse Dayton, Shake Russell, Dana Cooper, David Amram, Bob Livingston, David Massengill, Amy Speace, Ray Bonneville, Grant Peeples, Bill Hearne, Butch Hancock, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Bruce Springsteen and Pete Seeger.
Based in Terlingua, Texas, Hank tours nationally, performing regularly at festivals, coffeehouses, theaters, clubs and house concerts as a solo singer songwriter; in various other duo and trio configurations; and with his TexAmericana Jam Band, The Hank Woji Conspiracy. "
