This. There's so many introduction videos on the PNS but they're all so generalized and not detailed enough. Finally I found a video that goes a little deeper but still remains super easy to understand
I must say DR. Zack you will be remebered as one of the finest teacher in the history of medicine . more power to you from India , keep going !!!!!!!!!!
EXACTLY......HE IS SOMEONE EXCEPTIONAL WHO CAN BREAK DOWN EVERYTHING TO ITS CELLULAR LEVEL AND MAKE US UNDERSTAND WHAT HE IS EXPALINING. May God bless HIM......Prayers from PNG
I'm a med student, currently taking all the anatomy classes - there's no book or video which has explained/summarized this great - please continue with new vids! many thanks!
You are honestly a CONSIDERABLY better teacher than any lecturer I have had in my three years of uni. concrete respect for providing this education for free
I appreciate the fact that you repeat every small bit of important information you give. It really does make a difference in our understanding. Repetition is key and you do an excellent job of speaking slowly, clearly and concise. Thank you for the time and effort you put into these videos. We appreciate you.
I’m pretty sure people who listen to Ninja Nerd’s lectures know this already, but I have to point it out. The level of understanding he has towards his subjects is unbelievable. To be able to draw out even the minutest things and categorise and understand and TEACH it…Mad respect to you, sir! Thank you so much for doing what you do, because there are tons of people who are indebted to you for your efforts out there, including me!😇
You are just about the ONLY person I can find on YT that goes into enough detail for higher level education and I am eternally grateful. Most videos, while they're still great content, do not provide enough info for graduate level or higher comprehension, which makes understanding these complex systems difficult when reading papers gets super confusing (also the visual-aid just makes everything easier). You are the best around and I recommend you to every student who also struggles with this info.
I’m a medical student and I never understood this no matter how much I studied it, and I have an exam in two days . You just saved my life, your explanation and diagrams are amazing. Thank you so so much ❤️
So concise and perfectly communicated. You really know how to break down technical information and reformat it simply. It's as if you intuitively know ahead of time, what questions would likely come from a live audience, and answer those questions one step ahead.... Kudos to you. Also, I've watched about 4 videos on the ANS alone for my chapter 14 and finally it's all coming together for me through your ONE video. This is my first video of yours I have watched and I am certainly subbing now! I have never donated through Patreon but I would with your channel! Brilliant!
I have joined, I am going through my paramedic course, the way this guy explains everything, I love it, and gives me the passion to learn. Well done ninja nerd!! Thank you brother.
All these years of studying medicine and I had never understood the autonomic nervous system this well UNTIL TODAY. Thank you for making this much dreaded topic such a palatable one for me! Jazak Allah Khair ✨🙌🏻
OMG. For the first time, in 20 years of nursing I have finally understood the words adrenergic and cholinergic. OMG, just recertifying my ACLS, this will be a huge help. Thank you for your clear explanations!
I just want to start by saying “Hallelujah!” I’m not joking. Ninja Nerd your videos, especially this one has spared me sleepless nights, worry, and from pulling my hair out 😂. I’m older and back in school to get my RN degree 📜. The way you break things down is so awesome. You are a great teacher. I watch your videos over and over, and I’m even drawing your diagrams that you teach from. Should I say attempting to draw them - lol!! I feel a lot more confident about passing AP -1 &2, after having watched your videos. Thanks again and please keep teaching people like me who are visual learners. God Bless!!
This guy is freak'n awesome with his presentation style. Super concise and very clear about where he is and what structures are being focused on. Kudos.
You are one of the best teachers I've come across so far. I have an final exam tomorrow and there are a lot of question on the autonomic nervous system. Thank you for helping me make sense of this mishmosh pile of notes on my desk. You have no idea how much you saved me.
I could hug you!! The Nervous system by far has been the most difficult for me to understand and your breakdown in your videos make it so much easier to grasp. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge!!!
Best pans and sans video! I love how he takes the time and patience to explain everything with detail. I'm taking a&p online and my professor just records audio lectures. I'm a visual learner and seeing someone write and make graphics as they teach is so helpful
Thank you Mr,! I am just an interested person who did not study medicine but yet I can learn so much from you because you are so pedagogical in your teachings. Super easy to understand all you are explaining!
Just to be clear, there are two exceptions in the sympathic postganglionnic neurotransmitter: Sympathic postganglionnic neurons that innervate sweat glands and others that end on blood vessels that innervate some skeletekal muscles are cholinergic as well.(EDIT: Turns out you mentioned this later xD ) Thank you for your efforts.
God bless you Dr. Zack, you legitimately saved my life. I had absolutely no idea what was going on in my med school lectures on the ANS until now, but this makes everything so much less complicated, THANK YOU!!!!!

Thank you for this. As a psychotherapist who loves neuroscience, this really helps me visualize the systems, a complete delight! (from a nerd to another)
You are so much better than my professor. I learn more from your videos than I do in class when my professor goes through her Power Point one slide after another without explaining anything.
Good lord I finally understand sympathetic chain ganglia and rami communicans. I am so thankful I discovered this channel before my first exam block. Thank you.
you are the best...Honestly, I can read a bunch of times in my text book and it still doesn't make sense, but your videos it all clicks. Thank you!! Sooo Much!
Zach I absolutely love your videos. I am 43 and am just applying to study medicine (I used to be a teacher!) so am studying for the GAMSAT. You are making the process so much easier and I really love your teaching style. Ive learnt heaps! Thanks so much and good luck for 2021. You deserve so much success! Your passion for the subject really comes across in your videos. Thanks again, Catherine
Im tanking you with my tears . 😭❤️we will never forget you and how you tried to make us understand this good even better than our professors ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
my neuro professor is so damn smart and so passionate about this and I think does a fine job teaching but I appreciate your pace a lot and how you connect everything so fluidly. Thanks!
I just want to say thank you! You are great when it comes to explaining topics in great detail yet making sure it´s easy to follow as well. Loving the way everything is drawn up, neat and in order. Also you have great energy and passion and it makes everything so much fun even those days when I'm just a tiny bit unmotivated. =P
I couldn't thank you guys more! This was amazingly simple and comprehensively made 🤲🏽 Finally, it clicked and I understood what I've been reading about for hours 😂😂❤
Thank you so much for putting in the effort and making these videos! They're super helpful and obviously very well thought out. You're doing a great service for a lot of people.
Mr. Ninja....please come teach at Pima Community College in Tucson, AZ. I'm taking a 5-week class in A/P and literally feel like I should be in Pink Floyd's video of "comfortably numb" though I'm not comfortable.
