If I’m a bit cold & have a Shemagh with me. I just make the triangle & wear it across my shoulders & down my back like .... well I guess a shawl. Throw a coat over top & it will stay put pretty good. It’s surprising the difference it makes.
Southern Land Solo yes I do , in the heat it’s good dampen them with water and wear it draped over your head to keep you cooler. I like to use it like a small pack when I go fishing away from base camp.
Hello, I'm from Qatar and Qatar from the Gulf countries. This is part of our culture. We call it (Al-Ghatra if it is white). If it is red, we call it (Shammag). If the winter cloth is heavy, we call it (Shall). We wear Al-Ghutra on a daily basis and it has several protocols. There are luxurious types that are worn daily to work in Gulf uniforms. There are types that are worn only on road trips. There are types that are worn on cruises, and there are types that are worn in summer and types that are worn in winter.

I didn't think cotton could be that warm but it is quite useful if used right. Thanks very much for the tip
Southern Land Solo
Not sure I would call it warm but it helps 😂
It does in fact have a lot of different uses it’s something that absolutely would come in handy. Good vid Dave
Thanks Rob. I would be interested in any uses you might have for it in the climates and bush of Louisiana. Do you use shemaghs yourself bro?

Never tried a Shemagh,
I think it's time to give it a go.
Worth the money I reckon Kevin.
I might have to get one at some point. Seems like a very handy item.
Thanks for the video Dave 👍
Thanks bro. Well worth the twenty bucks.
