I’ve carried a merino wool shemagh for over a year now and it is truly the Swiss Army Knife of cloth. Had my little one throw her blanket into a puddle while in her pram so the shemagh/kerchief comes off my neck and wraps around her nicely, she’s been cosy every time she’s needed it.
great piece of kit, i've used these for 25+ years, must have 7-8 of them in my clothing bag. In recent years they became a fashion item and as a result lots of mixed content fabric ones have been for sale, so its worth being aware and make sure to buy 100% cotton.
Good point Neil. There is a wool version also available at about the same size. It is Merino Wool I think. I have only seen it on Mantis Outdoors so not sure if it is still available. Thanks for the input Neil.
@@southernlandsolo7839 Nope no trip overseas planned. Especially with everything going I'm not even thinking about going over seas. Hopefully I can go down South later on this year. Hope you are doing well Dave. Cheers
Thanks for those tips Dave, I really never thought about all the uses that a shemagh could be put to. At least here in the States I've notice a lot of people just use them as a fashion statement.Lol!!!!
Hilarious satire Sir, well done 😆

Thanks for sharing. A great piece of kit, not just for the bush.

Cool video Dave. I think the shelf idea was my favourite use!
Gonna go watch part 2 now.
Cheers
Thanks Zeb. I use mine more and more. A good piece of kit and easy to carry or stow away. Do you have anymore overseas trips planned?
