Honestly black metal is kinda weird like that. I find myself listening to a lot of it these days despite the fact that at its core , its pretty goddamn silly music with the painted panda faces and gurgly lyrics. Turns out underneath all that guff theres some actually decent and interesting musical ideas. I shouldn't like it in theory, but for some reason its more interesting than it really has any right being.

I mean no disrespect to those who like this, but in my opinion, there is Mayhem, and then there is The True Mayhem with Euronymous and Dead. I'll stick to Deathcrush and De Mysteriis, personally.

First off, If you've listened to all of ...And Justice For all (LISTENED CAREFULLY) You'd realize they even sounded a little Meshuggah like back then (even though meshuggah didn't exist at the time) so saying Metallica is overrated is the stupidest thing ever considering most people who's opinion is that have only listened to their Commercial stuff. Shut the fuck up and do your research. Second of all, Burzum is fucking great. And Mayhem is fucking great. With or without Varg, Euronymous and Dead. But it was better with them, they added so much soul to the band.
