Thank you for someone pointing out the "pressing charges" isn't a thing. If it isn't witnessed by law enforcement, you can choose to swear out a complaint or not. However whether charges are levelled is up the prosecutor, not the victim.
Story #3: 3 - 4 hour gaming sessions aren't that uncommon and that's probably what he was doing before they moved in together. My solution would be to compromise and have them get a console or gaming pc for her to play online with him and his friends* so that she can spend more time with him without depriving him of gaming time with his friends, and for him to spend more time with her outside of gaming, doing things that she likes to keep their bond strong and healthy. *That's what one of my best friends and his fiance' do and we always welcome her to the online sessions with open arms. He even bought a second gaming pc from me that I built with spare components I had lying around after a major upgrade so that she can hop on PC exclusive titles like Phasmophobia with us and have higher quality streams on Twitch.
Not in a relationship but I work a 10hr work day then pull a 4hr session 10-8pm then game till either 12 or 2 then wake up again at 8am if the shifts the same
With that last story, it was definitely the right thing to do to block him. Even if he is genuinely apologizing for being a crap person and he's trying to make a change, some people you just don't get to make amends with.
Usually, you'd be right that whoever breaks off the relationship determines where the ring goes. However, it doesn't matter, because the ring was NEVER given to her yet. It really doesn't matter if he broke up with her, by cheating with her mother or something, because that ring never was gifted to the girlfriend. She hadn't even seen it.
That's not the case, I was given an engagement ring then things happen and we broke up. In my state gifts do not have to be given back, so after I told him I would mail them back to him and he had the cops call on me. The good can't do anything as it's a civil matter and now it looks like he's harassing me. I still have the ring
For the wedding story why not maliciously comply plan the wedding into a funeral themed one since OP's career is being a mortician so why not book a cemetery chapel for a venue , hire a mortician buddy to do make up and rent a hearse to be the wedding car etc let's see if anybody would bother OP with wedding planning ever after that.
This situation make about as much sense as someone come to you and asking you to build a house for them on for free because they find out you're a contractor
Story 3: married…at 19. Yeah that will not end well and even if they are together someone will grow resentment. However, opinion on the couple’s age aside. My opinion on the situation? It’s common. Guys play games for about 3-4hrs unless it’s something that is particularly captivating. Either OP needs to join in on this, get new friends, or try to plan trips with the husband.
Well this is hilarious! As I’m watching the video, my dad calls me and asks if I’m out of bed, to which I tel him no. And as I go back to the video, the narrator says: *7:20* “Eventually my phone rings.”
For the final story, if it was all due to the grandma getting sick, could it actually be that the grandma is actually sicker than just a cold (maybe close to dying) and the reality of his own mortality gave him insight on how much of a jerk he was before and just wanted to apologies? Since she never mentioned what the conversation was like, if that happened to me, I would tell them that I forgive them for the way they acted but also say that I hope he remembers this for their next relationship and to have a great life.
This is what I was thinking. Narrator is jumping to an extreme negative without considering the fact that he only called after dealing with a very emotional situation that could have provided some much needed reflection.

To be honest I thought of it the same way because something similar happened to my mom: my dad got my mom addicted to drugs when they were young and it has affected her of them pretty badly. When I was 6 my parents divorced and my mom took custody of me and tricked my dad into getting us tickets to a country that had family members from my mother's side. During the period between ages 6 to 14 I ended up going back and forth with me ending up in the US living with my dad. I would visit my mom in the summer but other then that I would live with my dad. In one of those vacations my dad converted to Christianity which turned him into a better man. According to my mom and dad he called her to apologize for all the bad things he has done to her. (Now I am not talking about abusing her or anything like that but they both had a lot of issues with each other for obvious reasons.)
On the third story, the op could start playing those games with her husband. Me and my gf play games like minecraft and enlisted together, and its some of the most fun i have while playing those games.
2nd last story sounds very familiar. My oldest friend goes into relationship mode and neglects everyone who gives a shit about her for the sake of her fellas. Always apologetic when back in touch again but it's exhausting. Don't waste your time anymore. Move on he isn't worth the time.
I had a similar situation with my best friend. No one heard from him for a while after he got a new girlfriend. No text, phone calls nothing. Turns out she was a very controlling woman who basically told him to cut his friends out of his life.
i went to the reddit thread of the teenage married couple and OP acted like an ass, boasting that they're "legally adults" when she got called out for being too young for marriage the entire time. really shows her level of maturity.
Part of me wonders if its their parents. Years ago, getting married at 18, moving out, and having kids was perfectly normal. Granted this is when life expectancy was much earlier then now, but there are some cultures that still believe in marriage young. There are still cultures that do arranged marriages, and generally it would be a young age like 18 or early 20s. While this doesn't seem to be arranged, it does make me wonder if its just a thing for what ever culture they are part of, getting married young is normal. That or the parents just wanted her gone, and this was the first guy they could convince to marry their daughter.
Story 4, sorry to tell you but you have to realize that people tend to grow distant and looses contact with each other. You have to let him go and continue with your life without him.
I hv friends who were very nice to me when I spend time with them and help them too. We got on so well and they even asked me to move near them but then would keep cancelling my appts when they find something else more interesting. So much so for a friendship 😒.
that plus the overall neediness off the attempted contacts would leave me with no urge to respond. I already don't like phone calls and I would dread having a long talk about feelings that I'm apparently responsible for.
Fellas if your x is like the first story , please press charges if she's like this serious. We need to start holding these ladies accountable for their own delusions , we are to easy to let go. If she deserves charges pressed whether x gf or your run of the mil Karen please press charges if they deserve it
second story the op was TOTALLY RIGHT. But as a very sadistic person, I kinda feel that she should have done the wedding, just in the worst way humanely possible, THEN block the lady
For the story of the 19 year old married couple you guys got married after a year of being together idk about anyone else but that seems like a short time not just that if you really want his attention why not try to get into some of his interest like game with him n stuff n meet his online friends n game with them too so that way when you want alone time you have the ability to ask his friends for it or create a compromise with your husband saying ok we'll game for this much then cuddle or something.
With the rocky marriage between the nineteen-year-olds, I'd suggest making a date where the husband helps the wife build her own copy of his gaming rig and install the same games he plays with his online friends. I'm just thinking maybe try to save the marriage by embedding the wife into the online gaming circle of friends, that way his time with the friends is also time spent with his wife. Also, if the wife wants to make a run or two at being pregnant without ending up with the pressure of being a mom after the birth, I'd suggest she goes to a fertility clinic and offers herself as a surrogate mother, gestating the child of a couple that can't otherwise have children. I'd also suggest both partners spend time with the existing children of older members of both families so they can figure out if having kids of their own is really something they want to go forward with, as I've heard a story about a committed couple of twenty-five-year-olds that had to give their son up for adoption for financial reasons, so I'd be even more suspicious of a pair of nineteen-year-olds being able to independently afford to have a baby. With some luck, the relationship and finances stabilize by the time they're in their mid-twenties and neither of them turns out to be infertile assuming they're still a couple and still want kids.

9:30 the person who made that story is my aunt, it’s been a few years but they have 2 kids (my cusions) and he still play a lot of game but he does spend more time with her and her kid and I’m happy for ‘em
Story 3 OP needs some friends and hobbies. I'm 36 and my fiancé plays too and it's not a big deal. You don't have to do everything together. A healthy relationship has room for individual space and growth. Attachment can be very dangerous. She needs to detach a little tbh.
Argh, people don't have it right. An engagement ring is part of a promissory contract of marriage. It is not a 'gift', if the engagement ends, the contract has ended and the ring is returned to the person who bought it. If it went to court, that's what would happen.

9:29 You have been together for a year, and married for 2.5 months...so you got married after only about 9.5 months??? As a rule you shouldn't get married until both your ages added together is at least 52, that way you are playing with a full deck.
Yo don’t tell people how old they should be before getting married. I know couple that have married young and still 20 years later as well as knowing some that didn’t make it but I also know people that dated 8 years and in their 30’s before marrying and hardly made it 2 years some are still together. I think marriage isn’t about age but more know yourself and your partner. Some 19 yr olds are mature and ready for that life some are not.
I had a best friend for nearly 15 years that stopped talking to me 4 years ago. It's hard. But people drift apart. Move. Political views change. Marital status. Or sometimes you just realize that you weren't that great of friends and were only connected through common interests, and when those interests are no longer there--well... It's still hard to lose an old friend, though. I get it. But they're better off moving on and finding friends who don't drop you.
@11:30 To be fair, amending 2 to 3 hours per day, say 1 to 2 times per week online in game with friends is perfectly fine, so long as you spend the same amount on her at least 3 days.....splitting a husband with his friends she still gets the most pie....but they don't get relegated to crumbs. If he is spending at least a such with her as he is worth 4 or 5 friends total, then he isn't the problem.
by law in some country if you divorce the women had to give the ring back so you got look up the law when divorce and if you engaged the women had no right to the ring and alot women would try keep the ring and OP ex gf was manipulative like the friend said and only want get back with OP to just get the ring so she can tell her friend and story 2 the fact Op plan best friend wedding, so I guess people heard what OP did and though OP was a sucker so they try bully Op to do it for free and I love that OP tell the karen she entitled and that why she got no friend lmao
Playing video games for 4 hours is kind of average for most people who play games. So it's not really that long lol. She really should be playing games with him instead of complaining about it. He also should take time to do other things with her as well. Never marry a gamer if you don't play video games at all. Also shouldn't get married before you've been dating 2 years and lived with eachother for another 3 at least. You should also be out on your own after moving out of your parents home for at least 5 years as well. If you can't do that then you can't be an adult and take care of yourself and don't need to be getting married or even dating.
the last story your response isnt realy fair I feel you could be right but I know of cases where simulair things happened they relized at some point how bad they where and just did something like that not to get back together but to just genuily apoligize
You know what would make the first story absolutely fuckin hilarious? Is if the friend and the ex boyfriend ended up dating after this incident and then got married
The third story both shouldn't be married because both are teenagers in mind and they immediately jump to marriage without the further knowledge of having kids.

I love the videos but I can never get to the end. The gameplay with those mobile games pisses me of so much, I cannot be the only one
If you can't do that then you can't be an adult and take care of yourself and don't need to be getting married or even dating.
hot garbage relationship moment

The last story is too much. Why you forcing this much to be in contact with someone? If he didn't answer you the first 3 times, Bye bye! 😆
The guy didn't do anything wrong so why are you calling all of them a dumpster fire.
the 2nd story just make it trashy
The third story both shouldn't be married because both are teenagers in mind and they immediately jump to marriage without the further knowledge of having kids.
Second
