i hadnt thought about it, but ill give it some consideration. please thumbs up if your interested & comment what product you really need but cant find in stores! ♥️
@@abetweene I'd say I have trouble finding truly moisturizing lotions and body butters in-store that don't include mineral oil or silicones. For that reason, I typically resort to handmade items on sites like Etsy or those from small businesses. I have no problem paying more because I know a lot goes into making the products and sustaining the business. So I definitely appreciate you giving it a thought!
There’s a shop on Etsy called Natural Bs Inspired Care that has a great moisturizer and it’s organic .. no preservatives and the shelf live is about 6-8 months you should look into it . It’s really good and oil based
I loved this! Your videos are so peaceful and gorgeously made. However, just to not misinform anyone, moisture is not water, it is hydration. Products with lipids/fats/oils are more on the moisture end of the spectrum. And waterbased products are hydrators
HOW DID YOU KNOW I NEEDED THIS. The one I bought is nearly $40 and I love how I don't have to moisturize after I shower but it was sooo expensive. Tysm!

I've been searching for a whipped scrub to use because I prefer the creamy scrub combination to the only sugar, salt, coffee scrub. I just like the way the cream makes it easier to control the product and stops granules from falling all over the floor. I'll probably use this recipe and add coffee grounds to exfoliate my bikini area. Thank you!

hi ariane 🌞 i have very dry, sensitive skin, and i’ve been trying to look for some economical and environmental-friendly moisturizers. is there any that you could recommend?
i might suggest the herbivore botanicals pink cloud, you could even just grab a sample from sephora to see how u like it first. its predominately aloe which will soothe those sensitivity as well as rose water. i remember the ingredients list being a bit cleaner than it is now so it may have been reformulated though. Personally ive been liking the aesop mandarin hydrating cream. I have combination skin for reference.
i have dry sensitive skin too the best thing for me is just to use raw shea butter or make my own whipped its way more moisturising than any cream i’ve bought in a shop and it got rid of my eczema

u can if ud like to but the texture will be different. I chose mango butter predominately because its softer & will be easier to rinse in the shower, and the small amount of shea in this just thickens it slightly.
no, you definitely dont want to exfoliate everyday. once or twice a week is enough. also keep in mind this doesnt contain soap, so youll need a cleanser.
If I were to just not add sugar to the butters and oils, could I use that as a lotion? (I’m aware you already have a video on a body butter, I’m just curious since this one might be a bit lighter because of the mango butter)
yes. however remember the mango butter is still 100% fat, so it will feel heavy because its a solid oil. If you want something lighter id recommended just making a body oil with something like grapeseed oil. it absorbs pretty quickly.
You can try reducing the butter to oil ratio. In other words add more coconut oil or other liquid type oil so that its the majority with just a little mango butter to thicken the formula.

Why?

Also for your skin 😋 sugar is wayyy gentler

butters are solid oils, in this case from the nut of the african shea tree and mango kernel.

pretty much nothing. u need to add fragrance or essential oils for your dresired scent

I have only shea butter and coconut oil 🥥 , so can use only this 2 ingredients instead of mango ,shea butter and 🥥 oil ? .
yes u can
When you rinse it off in the shower does it make the tub slippery?? If so, is there a scrub that won't cause your tub to get slippery?
with oil it is a possibility. u can just use a dry scrub on wet skin. sugar and salt are susceptible to melting, so u can try coffee grounds as well/instead.
does the texture change overnight and become more firm like whipped body butter?
if the ambient temperature in your home is low, yes it may firm up more.
You should use your scrub and then wash your body after to make sure you wash away any left behind cells u didn't get with the water.
i use a textured washcloth/cleanser first, and this as a sscondary exfoliant because it double as a moisturizer, like a shower oil.
If you prefer to wash after, a more suitable diy would be a foaming scrub (it uses soap base rather than fat/oil)
Thank you sis ❤️
