I love the Stephenson base too. I have made the Cashmere scrub by Brambleberry and everyone loved using it. This recipe looks so creamy and luscious, I can't wait to make this. I have everything but the fragrance oil and pumpkin seed oil. 🎃
Absolutely GORGEOUS! The EXACT texture I've been looking for and you don't use a lot of ingredients! I signed to your Patreon account and love your content! Now I have to search for that exact base. Hopefully I can find it in a Canadian store, otherwise will get it anywhere I find it! Thank you!
Hi! :) Love your video but I have a question... Although I LOVE the look of the nozzle you are using, when piping in with the star shaped nozzle it is definitely leaving quite a bit of air in the jar. How much ounces are you actually getting in that 8oz container? I know when I make these I can get a little over 5oz at the most.. and I use a round nozzle with hardly any gaps of air at all... Just curious about your "fluid ounces". Thank you!!
I am excited to try this..something different than usual whipped scrubs/soaps.like you stated they usually whip them till so light n fluffy. Tripling volume , .but I like this alternative! this recipe makes 10 jars? 4oz or 8oz?
That looks divine! I too love that brand foaming soap base. So at the point before adding the sugar (which makes it a foaming sugar scrub), would it be considered a whipped soap? Could you jar it up just like that without the sugar?
Yes! You can make This recipe with no sugar! It’s like a whipped soap in a sense because it does lather very well, however, i think a traditional whipped soap base inflates to double it’s size and is much lighter. The Stephenson base is more like thick frosting after it’s whipped.
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany gotcha. That's why I like it in a sugar scrub. I am a patron member..do you have a whipped "soap" recipe that's lighter?
Your incredible 👏 Thank you 🙏 how long is it before you can start using them? My 12 year old daughter wants to make them for Christmas gifts and for Birthdays. If she made them around end of September will they keep for about 6months or so. ☺️✨✨✨
Cory, what is the size of your stand mixer bowl? Is it a 6 Qt.? I'm looking at buying a second mixer for my formulating business. I'm not ready to shell out the ultra big bucks for a much larger restaurant model, lol! I can't wait for fall scrubs!!! There's a new Crafters Choice fragrance called Apple Oak Barrel (maybe Leaf, I can't remember which it is) I bought and can't wait to try, it smells devine! I make my own foaming base, it took me 2 years to do. Propanidiol 1,3 became my friend. It really amped up the moisture properties, plus I still use glycerin too. Hope thay maybe helps you to achieve your dream base. Jill Gross
DIY Bath & Body on Etsy has a foaming bath butter base recipe you can buy and make yourself! Not sure if you’re interested in trying that out to see if you like it better than the Brambleberry one. 😀
Has anyone tried the halal everyday base & this one to compare the 2? I did a sugar scrub with the halal one & it didn’t lather you as much so I’m guessing the oils got to it.
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany oh okay then. I had another question I’ve noticed the fragrance I’m using in my bath butter does not completely mask the smell Of the soap base is that normal? I’m using the same soap base in your video and I’ve tried 2 different fragrances.
SCI powder & betaine makes a great foaming body butter

Can these foaming bath sugar scrubs be used on your scalp? Great video! ❤
I love love the video the whipped scrub looks beautiful Weldon. Please can make us a simple soap base recipe please 🙏
Looks amazing!
i also use the OPC and I love it 'cause it indeed lathers the best! Love from the netherlands 💕
its amazing! why dont you get rich yet? its sounds gold for me! thank you!! its very kind you share it!
Do you have a mixer or mixer bowls/beater that is dedicated to this or do you feel comfortable having a multipurpose mixer/bowl?
Been watching your videos forever and they never disappoint! Loving the video quality as well 🧡
Thank you! We’ve been working on that!
I’m not 190% sure if this would work. I’ve not tried it…but maybe bubble up from brambleberry might be a way to get that bubble and lather?

@@wendyduckett9391 yes! If you search whipped soap on there you should see it
You havent used any preservatives?
Can you tell me where you got that reusable piping bag and what size is it?
Looks so lovely ⭐️⭐️
Thank you!
Is she going to sale these again this year? I want to purchase!!!!
I will be carrying the same formula with a different fall fragrance this year, but very similar 🙂

Thank you! You can use them right away! If kept in a cool dark place to store they will last 6 months.
Does this leave a moisturizing lotion feel like your emulsified sugar scrub recipe? Would it be possible to make an emulsified foaming sugar scrub?
It has a really creamy lather and has some emulsifying properties but it’s not really lotion like.
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany Thanks! :)

This looks so amazing! Just subscribed to your Patreon for the year! :)
Very nice. Is this recipe available w/o the pumpkin on your site? I'd like to try it but not a fan of this scent
Thank you! No, not at this time 😊

Does the base already have a preservative?
Can the crafter foaming base be used in this recipe ?
No, the whipped soap base from crafters choice is not the same and it will not work with this recipe.
Has anyone tried the halal everyday base & this one to compare the 2? I did a sugar scrub with the halal one & it didn’t lather you as much so I’m guessing the oils got to it.
I love your activity you make video very soon👌👌👌👌
Amazing video ilike it😍 can you write the recipe by grams plz
Thank you! This formula is available on my Patreon campaign. Link in description
Hi there! Very Nice!!!
Hi Omega! Thank you!
I wonder why mine does not really doubble in size 🥺
and can i sub the oils? and can I buy from a diff F.O?
Yes
hello im really bad with %s do you give grams are ozs for this recipe
I give grams
how many 8oz containers of this scrub can you make with 2 lbs of the soap base?
6 jars is what I've done before
Do we need to add a preservative?
No because it has one in there.
Any ideas on a good substitute for the pumpkin seed oil that’s still beneficial for skin? Maybe an oil with similar properties? Thank you😊
Yes, you could use sunflower oil or even sweet almond oil.
Thank you 😊
Hi there I was wondering since you did not add a preservative in your recipe how long does your sugar scrub last and does it ever get moldy?
Hi, there is a preservative on the base. I have always found it to be enough.

It is really a good product but not suitable for shipping it deflates so quick
We have had this issue with other whipped bases, however this one doesn’t do that
