hi nick! thanks for your great tutorial! i can't send you a private message within my youtube app, so i have to ask my question here: when i'm on my real kit (tama starclassic bubinga) i have a hard time hearing my bass drum. even at speeds of 150-160bpm i can't hear the strokes clearly, which makes it kind of hard to work on my accuracy on the double bass (as well as speed, because it doesn't make much sense to just go crazy on the bass drum, when you're not able to control your playing by ear). did you have a similar problem, too? if yes, do you have any advice on how i could get rid of that annoying problem? thank you, greets from austria!
Great video, thanks. One question. If I create a drum track in EZD and then drag the grooves over to a SD2.0 track, does that turn the EZ drums into Superior Drums? It's really easy to make your own beats in EZD2. I want to retain that simplicity but be able to port them over to a new track armed with SD2.0.
hi, i have a question, when i'm putting a song together the first thing i do is find a beat (groove) that sounds and feels like what i want, then i go back and start inserting fills, my problem is the velocity in the fills are different, sometimes a lot. how do i even out the velocity and volume without sounding like a machine? i'm using sonar platinum. thanks
Hello , I'm from the country Brazil . I have "Pro Tools 12" and "Superior Drummer" and "Nanopd 2 - Korg controller" , and then I'm wanting to learn how to configure the Nanopd 2 Korg controller for use with Superior Drummer and Pro Tools 12 . I already have all drivers nanoPAD 2 installed on my PC , "Korg USB - Midi Driver" , "Korg Kontrol Editor" , and then I would like you to teach me telling me what would be the setup needed to use Nanopd 2 Korg controller for use with Superior Drummer and Pro Tools 12 . Grateful . Geraldo R. Estrela
question for ya. Just got done makin a small loop drum groove and on some of the loops you cant hear the kicks that were placed in but on others you can. Is that a problem with the looping itself or something i can fix in Superior or my DAW?
Check the velocities on the first initial loop to make sure they're all the same. If so, close your midi editor and reopen it. Lastly close and reopen you're whole session if none of the other methods work.
ive been wanting to get superior for a while now, to use with my td-3. I just don't know much at all about midi and how it would work. im not sure that if I baught the software, I could actually get it working..
All you need is a USB midi cable, by pass the sounds comibg from the td3 module and the midi signal will pull the sounds from the SD... I used to have that exact setup a while ago...
What im wondering, in have a copy of cool edit pro around somewhere. Now whichever drum program big decide, are they universal to any recording software. Or do I need specific recording software for certain drum software? Im just gonna tackle this issue one question at a time. Surely I can get it done this way. Even ifbit takes another 9 months lol. Any answers are appreciated. Thanks a ton.

Does it automatically detect the td3 module thru superior drummer?
superior drummer will detect the midi signals, yes... dont expext to see the td3 on screen or anything like that...
