They really need to give us something other then new maps each update cause in 2 or 3 years were gonna have like 20 maps for normal gamemodes and like 50 or 60 Halloween maps.
In a perfect world I think they'd rotate most Halloween maps and have the really unique ones like Crasher, ZI as a whole, some of the PD maps, etc be playable year-round since it really sucks having so much extremely unique content locked behind one month of the year.
This is way better than expected, still some gaudy unusuals that (apart from one) will be trade fodder, but I really like that the references are a bit toned down in place of more original cosmetics

if the 64 bit update improved the game to be able to take more effects, why not retroactivly add back the Halloween spells as a possible drop for all Halloween Crates as a tool item? Like how the Festivizer is a Smissmass crate tool drop, make the Halloween spells a tool drop. this way you get something actually good, but also cool and fitting for Hallwoeen. Of course, dropping the unlocked Halloween Crates with older Halloween cosmetics would also be good.
Honestly, this is probably one of the better Halloween updates in recent years- The new hats generally feel quite tasteful and fit the artstyle very nicely while still also retaining a distinct Halloween flavor, the new weapon skins are actually super sick and make me want to actually unbox them because the TFTeam elected to go with the Winter 2017 skin approach, just.. picking skins that look nice, instead of some tacky sticker designs just ‘cause they have a stock png spider on them, some of the new effects are a hair lackluster, particularly some of the taunt fx, though the hat effects are genuinely fantastic looking just across the board, even if most of them are reskins. The taunts, similarly to the hats, all fit the characters well, though really, only Scout and Heavy got actual ‘Halloween-y’ taunts, and the maps are great too, a lot of variety, though Blazehattan aggravates me for being Zombie Infection. We could have finally had new MVM content after a decade ;-;

Those minimalist designs are better than pretty much every pumpkin, snowman, and all that seasonal garbage we've gotten since 2017

What random thing I've been thinking of would be what happens if you give either red team or blue team the ability to play as Saxton in any of the base game modes basically working like the Left 4 Dead tank where one player will play as him if certain conditions are met
