One step forward....blah, blah, blah. We all know how that goes. So disappointing when stuff like this happens. Hope you can find the right set of injectors and get this issue resolved. Love the videos. Be safe and stay well.
The problem is they are probably knockoff injectors. You are better off using some from a JY engine. See if Flo-Tec can help you, I bet he has tons of genuine flow matched injectors floating around.
Very interesting video! I love the clutch tuning information. I just installed a Ram adjustable clutch and Gforce 101a in my car. I am new to all this tuning so this is very helpful to me. I see people talk about data logging for tuning the clutch. It seems people recommend to monitor engine rpm, driveshaft speed and also transmission input shaft speed. It looks like you are just using engine rpm and driveshaft speed, is that correct? I'd like to have a data logger but it seems like a pain to figure out how to monitor transmission input shaft speed. If it can be done with just engine rpm and driveshaft rpm, I would be more interested in installing a data logger in my car.
Thanks! Ideally having an input shaft speed sensor allows you to directly calculate clutch slippage in all gears, but you can definitely get the clutch tuning job done with just a (high definition) driveshaft speed sensor, as I'm doing on this car.
@@The_Performance_Laboratory Thanks for the reply. On my previous car, I used a RPM products data logger with a 4 magnet collar for the drive shaft speed. I think there are collars with more magnets so I assume that is what you mean by high definition. How many magnets are on your collar?
@@1320quick I have 8 pulses per revolution, now but am considering upgrading to 16. We'll see how much resolution I get from launch when/if I can get it to the track.
Bummer on the injectors. Not being able to trust injectors sucks. Time to invest / build in a flow bench? Did you say you removed the mid pipe but left the mufflers in place at the track? How did you stabilize the muffler so they don't hit the drive shaft?
I love all of your "keepin' it real" uploads man.

You had a 30% change in base with two turns - % are the honest reference

I'm going to go hug my QJet.😄
LOL, my carbs hate me too...

You would just add math channels for each gear

I have cutouts I uncork so the midpipe stays in place.
How much base are you running? Any counterweight?
7.5 g of counterweight. Base forces are detailed in the video - that's what I'm adjusting. It's at 650 lb now.
@@The_Performance_Laboratory i'm meaning how much base in PP before the turns??
@@hotrod9507 sorry I misunderstood. Base static is 402 lb with the springs I have in there now, and cover shims.
