For anyone still confused about the quest for crucio not activating there are several quests in the main story that aren't being mentioned in the video, there is a main story quest later where Sebastian invites you to his village to meet his sister, this has has to be completed first and then another quest with Natsai that involves Highwing. after that one is complete then Sebastian will send his owl to start the questline. there are about 1-2 of his side quests between each of the ones that give you one of the curses. hope this helps.

Just like every other figure you trace out, it's the wand movement for that spell. You don't do it because of the scar. Potter has the scar because of the movement of the spell
@@heirofthestars Only a few spells have the wand movements necessary to cast them explicitly described. Even if you don't learn the spells when you get offer to for the first time, you can still learn the spells by finding Sebastian in the Undercroft and talk to him.
You will learn Crucio when you completed the main quest "The High Keep". After that quest you unlock the flying mount. Then you need to go in the game explore more, just do something and later you will get an owl. So basically if you finished the "The High Keep" quest, you will not going to get that owl instantly. Do some side quest in the mean time and you will get the owl later. For Avada Kedavra. When you reach a storyline quest "Ranrok Loyalty" and you are only lvl 26-27 DO NOT START THE QUEST! Go, get some xp. Go complete side quest, go to the battle arena kill enemies, or get these flying pages anything which gives you XP. Than if you reached lvl 28 do the "Ranrok Loyalty" quest. After that quest you again need to wait a little bit. Do some exploring until you get the owl. Thats it.

The only one I will probably end up using is Avada Kadavra. Now hear me out, I understand that it causes immense pain when it kills someone, but it’s only for like a second before they die. Meanwhile, approved defense spells like Incendio set people on fire, which also causes immense pain, but hurts for longer since it’s not an instakill, and Depulso, which if used the right way, can knock someone off a cliff, or into a object, causing head trauma. Congratulations, you sent someone to the hospital with a head injury so bad, that they’ll have to live the rest of their life as a vegetable, and burns so bad that they have to live the rest of that vegetable life looking like a pizza. It’s all about the main story progression. Side quests don’t unlock anything. This “guide” is really a “eventually you’ll get them” video LOL. I’m at crucio now - he reaches out after each main mission completion starting at the Helm quest.
I'm learning these spells, despite that I'm going to go for the good ending. And 'Spoiler Alert" I have actually learned through digging around online how to get 2 of the three endings along with seeing all of them online, to get the good and evil endings it all comes down to a choice made during the cutscene prior to the final boss fight against Ranrok and that choice is to either agree to Professor Fig's request to keep the Ancient Magic Repository hidden underneath the map room at Hogwarts secret until there's a way to safely deal with it or reveal it with intent on trying to gain control of it to put it simply you agree to Professor Fig's request you get the good ending, if you refuse you get the evil ending, now if you complete Sebastian's Companion Quest Storyline prior to completing the main storyline with him you will get a special dialogue with him during the final cutscene where you reveal the truth behind who really cursed his sister Anne and after he mentions his thoughts on the revelation he'll mention of two potential future outcomes for the two of you depending on which ending you go for if you go for the good ending he'll mention that maybe depending solely on the Dark Arts is a bad idea but it's a good idea to still use them but only as spells of last resort, and if you go for the evil ending Sebastian will tell you that whenever you're ready to drop out of school and continue your pursuit of furthering your descent into darkness he'll gladly follow you down the path of darkness. Now as for the true ending how to get it hasn't been revealed yet but it's basically a extended version of the 1st 2 endings but with the addition of seeing cutscenes of things getting back to normal at Hogwarts and a final cutscene where Headmaster Black is about to prematurely announce the winner of the 1890 House Cup but before he can Deputy Headmistress Professor Matilda Weasley then takes over mentioning that due to your achievements aka saving the entire planet from Rookwood, and Ranrok, keeping up with your classes, and helping your fellow students when they needed it the house you belong to earns an additional 100 house points netting the house you belong to the 1890 House Cup, with the true ending closing with your housemates congratulating you for netting you and the rest of the house the House Cup.
@@MM-li6js No you don't you can be of any house, you just have to be at certain levels to get an owl-mail from Sebastian and this is after you finish the main quest where he teaches you the Disillusionment Charm. Good to know you can do the quest without learning the unforgivables, I feel bad enough picking 'jerk' options in games like this, let alone actually being evil, but the side quest's narrative does sound interesting so I didn't want to skip it.
I have a question do you need to have the deluxe edition of the game to get these?
Way past lvl 16 and quests you have mentioned yet no owl for the shadow quests
I'm in my first playthrough 13 hours in level 24 I think and I just noticed that Sebastian indominus have more stuff going on figured that's where I would get the curses from since they gave me the fireball
I think they changed it now so the quest gets into your log as you get the letter without you having to open it
What if you said in the quest line that you did not want to learn it can you still unlock it
Does it matter who I use crucio on or if I use Sebastian will I get more quests from him?
pls let me know
No not at all
I'm level 27 and the second quest hasn't appeared, so sadly it isn't a level thing and I'll have to do more story. Was hoping to get it early on before progressing
There's no video on UA-cam about how to get crucio when u missed it ? Mine still locked at level 26 . So how can I get it ?
just do side quests I'm not done with the story and im already lvl 23 i just learned the 1st unforgivable curse and the second one popped up as soon as i was done with the first, probably because I have finished so many side quests.
So how many quests after unlocking crucio?
Question, can you learn the curses if you’re in any house? Or do you need to be in slytherin
I’m level 21 and I recently got imperio and I have all the other spells unlocked all I need is Avada kedavra 7 more levels to go
100 k views in 1 day!!!! Congratulations buddy 🎉
great stuff, thanks andy!
I got to level 16 but have no owl post from Sebastian and no quest in my quests log
I am playing a Ravenclaw so I have learned the curses as they come but have not used a single one even once. Second playthrough will be a Slytherin one and I will use them.
Did you have to pick Sebastian when doing the quest where you face the troll?
so if you don't learn avada kedavra right after the last quest you can't learn it later ?
Do you have to join slytherin for this or not because I want to do raven claw but I want these spells
I declined avada kedavra but I didn’t know if you decline it the first time you couldn’t learn it ever again!?
i just did the quest in the shadow of the mine at the end Sebastian is not happy when we mention logdrok and storms off - does this have an effect of future quests from him? or on Avada kedrava quest
Even if your a raven claw you can still get those quest pop ups right?
#teamearly! Lets go! Just started my journey! Looks great
Good thing I'm level 26 and just now going to meet sebs sister🤪 I always get distracted from the main storyline.
Ty for this
If you finish the main-storyline and then choose to learn the curses.
Will this still have some effect for the rest of the game ? (side quests etc.?)
Ima be such a crazy villian that Voldemort won’t say my name ether
I spent 3 days doing side quests just to find out you have to check your owls 😭😭
So I purchased the requler version of the game and I'm able two unlock the dark arts spells is that normal cuz I thought u had two buy it
Avera kedrba sounds like Abra Cadabra which means in Aramaic (Create as I speak, or a variation of Destroy as I speak) This was written in runes spelled out into words casted onto the internet in a very "Charm"ful way.
But I’m like level 30 have checked all of my owls and I still haven’t got the quest to pop up so what did I do?
I skipped one on accident can I relearn them later or redo the game
I don't understand, I am level 28, on the niamh trial mission, and it's just not popping up for the killing curse
Was there an update since this video? I just got AK at level 23....?
Sebs quests have kinda just stopped all of a sudden.
I wish i had known this before! I thought it was part of the quest now I’ve already started down this road and wish I hadn’t 🤦🏼♀️
do u need to be in Slytherin or it doesnt mmatter what house u pick
Is anyone else not able to get the quest line to appear?
Sebastian isn't giving me mail anymore after shadow of the estate? I'm level 19 and waiting to get the crucio spell, don't know what's wrong
Same, the only spell he taught me was the fire one
I’m having this same issue, anyone know how to get sabastions mail now?
that quest line just triggered for me after doing a few more main missions. You fight the troll like a few hrs into the game, way before you even learn about the dungeon with Sebastian, why would he teach you a curse, before you even meet his sister? My quest triggered after doing the three boom stick quest where it takes you in a cave for some helmet, literally right after that is when I got the letter from Sebastian. And that was hours later after beating the troll! Unless there’s another troll fight y’all do together
I’m level 19 and already completed the quest for the helmet and still haven’t received the mail yet
@@quranpaige3538 then idk man, I wish I could help more
Im level 28 Just learned crucio and the next quest voor imperio wont pop up . Do i need to do more side quests behoren i got a post owl from sebastian?
I never got the first quest and I’m level 21. Did I do something wrong?
I'm in chapter 2 now and level 22 and I can't get the curses to pop for me. I'm checking the letters...any tips?
i’m having the same issue
@@PusoD2 ya man. I don't know if I'm like doing it wrong or if it's just not suppost to happen till much later. But it's not happening when everyone is saying it should so. I wonder if it's me bro
I'm having same issue I'm pretty far into the story as well
im level 32 and only got 1 so far
Update: after following the main quest and it side quests i’ve had the “unforgivable curse” quests pop up
Im lvl 16 and I don't see a owl or quest about the 1st curse I beat the welcome to hogsmead and the flying thing
With these quests does it matter what house you're in?
I heard you say that if you use these curses the story line changes. Is that correct? if so do you know if you use spells that apply a curse have the same storyline effect?
I declined the crucio curse, is there any way to learn it in the late game? Or do I have to make a new character to learn it? Pls help me
I rejected avana kadavra and now I'm wondering the same thing
I am level 34 on loggok's loyalty quest and I can't seem to get any new companion quests last one was when I met Anne and sabastian in feldcraft which I did either right before or right after shadow of the mountain (could I have done them in wrong order?
What if I made welcome to hogwarts time ago but im only in level 8 but if I reach level 16 I will get automatly that owl post?
What happens if you didn’t pick him to go to the town with?
He still sends you letters
