So I ordered all the parts I could see you used from Amazon last week. Got to it today, and about 40 minutes after chopping off the stock exhaust with my Sawzall, it's so much better. I liked this style the best and went for it. Cost about $75. 47 for the pipe, then the 2 adapters.
A perfect sound check video thank you so much for adding roll on video thats a great idea to give someone a example of how its actually sounds while riding
Sounds kind of dirt bikey but by far sounds better than the stock. Not to mention you don’t have to worry so much about scraping the exhaust on right turns like you do with the stock. Gonna have to grab one 😁
Nice!!! Question tho: was the aftermarket welded to the stock? I mean, does the stock come in one piece or does the muffler come off of the original? I'm concerned there might be some sawing and welding involved if I use that cool looking exhaust. TIA
@@danny1djw hey I just got my kpm delivered and the exhaust wasn’t installed. I’ve got the pipes installed and the o2 sensor installed can’t tell where to plug the other end at though. Your video almost showed I wish you could just film underneath to show me what the connection looks like. Can you help?
They've been great for me. 6000 miles and two yeard and I'm only just now beginning to think of replacing them. Very grippy, but definitely street only! You can find them at kpmoto clubs' website!
My question is: Where do you get this thing? I cannot find out how to buy one of these. Do I go to a dealer and just have them order it from them? Let me know if you have any insight. Cool bike for so cheap!
You almost exclusively purchase it from online retailers and it will ship to your door in a crate with some assembly required. The only way to physically purchase the bike is through a singular dealership in California. I haven't seen which online retailers have it in stock currently but they're out there. If they don't have them available right away they will post a date to when they'll have the next shipment in.
Yo is this the absolute legend that got butt hurt another vehicle had the audacity to turn into their own lane and in response threw a childish tantrum to soothe his bruised ego?! Man what a national treasure this fellow is!
Owner's manual says 15W-40. Honestly I wouldn't stray away from manufacturers specifications because this thing spins up well past 10k RPM and I wouldn't want to mess with using a lower weight oil like the more common 10W-40. You may have better luck online finding the oil
that modification is bad ass , great idea , it almost sounds like a Harley
. i love this bike now this a proper video of this bike all around, I definitely want one now. i love the sound! sounds amazing!
Thank you so much for this upload I’ll definitely use it as reference!

wow good sound and good exhaust design, better than factory standard.
Nice. Looks like the slip-on can be purchased on Amazon for $50. [Slip on Exhaust 1.5-2 Inlet Stainless Steel Muffler… (Black-Silver)].

Nope! Just used a small exhaust clamp towards the bottom and connected it to the end of the existing exhaust
@@danny1djw Thanks and great to know!!! At 1:38, it looks like there are 3 parts? Did you use a mid-pipe link?

What brand tires did it come with? Are they any good, do you feel safe on them?

Gotta drive that factory wax off them tires
Would it be easy to put a skid plate around the engine and exhaust pipe?

Skip to 3 min if you're here to actually hear the bike.
I have that same exact Amazon-special exhaust on my CBR300R, it's a bit louder but that's to be expected.
Link?
@@bl4z1nJay So annoying how people will never share links in chat.. Even 1 year after your comment lol.

Bro thank you
Sounds good. Your neighbors would be unhappy with you if you removed the baffles.
I did the same setup that shh rips
3:04 is where it's at
Blinkers and fender eliminator would be cool.
The fender eliminator is a must. Might have to be a custom job though given the lack of after market support here in the US for me
