Maybe there's a cellphone vid of an unplugged street show, no fx... but it doesn't sound like a record, and truth be told, it's not your favorite version of that tune, etc. I saw a newer Cat Steven vid where he played guitar and sang in the video, in a chair at home, but you could hear they'd overdubbed a tremolo Rhodes, a pad, a couple other sounds in places. A bunch of comments: wow, that sounds so full for just a guitar and voice. He's amazing! That's why people design software music fx plug-ins to resemble famous vintage fx units - we tend to hear with our eyes, to some extent. Those tools are marketed to pro audio engineers, but they're susceptible too!

But yea, you don't listen to enough beatbox, this level of precision and delivery is the standard for many artists, dlow, show-go, den, heartzel, azel, stitch, dilip, jollux, zekka, river, etc. You got mad cats out there killing it, and the difference between their levels is so slim, most of the time, picking a favorite isn't about skill/technique at all, but the creativity of their composition into genres/grooves you vibe with. The bbox world is insane.
