Hi there beautiful people! In today's video I am sharing a new nail art tutorial on how to make the cool looking negative space swirl nail art! I have seen it been done with gel polishes a lot, but since not everyone likes to use that I wanted to share how to create it with regular nail polish.

Just subscribed to your channel. I love how you use polish. I like gel polish, but too hard to get off as I like to do my nails often....it's like my therapy! Plus, I've always wanted to be "artsy" and have zero artistic talent and polishing my nails makes me feel artsy and creative. A lot of gel polish tutorials you can't do with regular polish because it drys to fast.

I also always wear a layer of gel base and top underneath my nail polish! Less breaking, no nail polish chipping and no yellow staining which I find quite annoying for negative space nail art.

First of all thanks for the video. Really love your design videos. True, this design is usually black gel because it does not dry out but you managed to get through this hurdle excellently. Glad you share personal things with us too, it adds a lot of charm to the video and creates intimacy. In my left hand is the previous design you did with the green and pink nail polish but instead of stickers I did the stamping. With my right hand I applied a holographic transparent top in two layers and on them I pasted stickers in the shape of musical notes in black and white and colored butterfly stickers. Of course I will also try the design of this video.

Beautiful design ! Finally I always wanted to see it with regular nail polish ! Are your nails hard with gel polish ? I tend to wear nail polish and feel my nails get weaker with gel polish on ! I don’t know if gel nail polish is suppose to make your nails harder or more flexible !?
My natural nails already are quite tough as it is ^^ But I use a softer kind of gel polish that lets my natural nails keep their flex. This prevents them from breaking by simply bending back if I slam my hand into something :)
The only thing that really damages the nails and makes them weaker with using gels is incorrect removal or overfiling.
