Since I got loads of questions asking me to make some simple how to tutorials with household items which are easy to get by, I really wanted to share my 5 simple techniques on how to gradient and ombre your nails. I only used easy to get by products and Essence cosmetics nailpolishes, but any other brand of polishes works fine too :)

My favorite technique is the makeup sponge technique. It looked easy to do and created a smooth gradient effect. I’d like to try this when my nails are longer!

Hi! The makeup sponge technique is my favourite! You should try to do the ombre with a fan brush, it works pretty well.

My favorite way has to be using the beauty sponge, it just makes the fade look like its blended effortlessly. Great video! :) Also I think that was cute you asked your husband which nail was cutest and not as cute, hahaha!

Very pretty! I've heard that if you dampen the sponge before applying the polish, the sponge won't leave pieces sticking to the nails. Maybe that would work with the baton you bought off Aliexpress?

I got rid of the polish with some acetone free nailpolish remover, it doesn't damage the sponges :)

Great I watched this, I just yesterday added this sponge to my shopping bag at aliexpress haha :D
Also, thanks for your haul videos, I never trusted aliexpress before but made a huge offer there now. .. Acutally 2, I'm so inpatient I want my stuff NOW so I still feel like I need a ton although this ton is already on it's long long long.... way too me :'D
Also, regarding the catrice top coat - is it a quick dry? I have a gel-like one from another company but it takes ages to dry so I went back to my regular quick-dry top coat.

The topcoat does dry pretty quickly btw :D

Mostly yes :) But it can depend on the brand of gel whether or not these techniques will have the desired outcome

Ik doe dit ook vaak op korte nagels zonder lange tip, werkt iets lastiger door het kleinere oppervlak maar met een makeup sponsje nog erg goed ☺️

Ik wilde even wat vertellen. Ik heb dus al 5 keren geprobeerd om te commenten op je give away video maar het lukt me niet.
