I just got my bike and the first day it would start, the second day it started and I rode for for about an hour 20 mins, the Thursday day it would not stay and has not started since. The manufacturer thought it was the carburetor, we replaced the carburetor and it still won’t start any suggestions?
after all the messing with the pz26 i could not get it tuned to stop bogging at open throttle when the idle was too high or at low throttle when the idle was great. didnt have air leaks or an issue with the filter. so i bought a 20$ vm22 and it worked very well right out the box. i think all these carbs are hit or miss
So I just got my Vader and every time I put it into first gear from natural, the bike kick forwards a little. Is that normal? Do I need to break in the bike first or something?
All Grom clones are hard on the gears they get a little better with time but they are a little ruff a better clutch cable helps or a better style clone motor with smoother transmission
I just bought a pz22 for my bike but no clue where to start with the adjustments 😔 I know this is the pz26, but since you have experience with the pz22, I was hoping you had a lil info. Thanks in advance!
Am I just messing with the Phillips head (with the spring) on the one side or do I have to mess with a flat head on the other side as well? Thanks again
@@motoprosvtp Thank you! I had a feeling it was both. The mixture seems easy, I know where it "stops" so I can back it off... Does the idle screw eventually stop when turned clockwise? I don't wanna keep going and over tighten it and mess it all up, but when it's all the way to one side, I can at least know my starting point and go from there 😕 It's currently not starting and that's why I'm going from scratch. ok i just installed my pz26 using your video and my throttle wont spring back when i twist it. im using the slide and the spring that came with the new carb. do you usually have this problem and have to buy a new shorter throttle cable? my bike is the 2022 boom vader 125.
@@motoprosvtp i got it figured out. it was something dumb. the bar end mirrors binding against the grip. i have the idle set great with the idle speed screw but i cant find any other mixture screws to adjust. right not it bogs down and almost dies at 4500rpm

I swapped carbs on my new Vader and now it idles ok but does when i give throttle, also i can’t get it into neutral or 2nd after switching into first , and ideas
Just installed the PZ22. What’s a good starting place for mixture screw? Also with stock PZ20 I was able to get up to 50-55mph, and with one I can only reach like 44-49mph. Any advice? You think there’s a leak by manifold? Reason I say that is it quite loud when giving it throttle. Not an air sucking in sound
Hey man so I have a clone as well. It was run beautifully then it stopped working during the rain, it had a 1500kms warranty so I returned it, and the seller changed the carb to a cheaper carb than the stock that came with it. Ever since on slow speeds it lags, and sometimes when I stop or hold the clutch it shuts off. I don't know what's the solution I tried messing with the air screw and all that and it's the same. So is it because of the carb ya think ?
I have yet to ruin my motor and I wash my bike and ride in dirt and muddy condition I’m at 3700 miles on my clone and still beat on it I also use a filter sock
Thx this is the first video that actually showed what I needed to know
No problem glad it helped you out
Great video. That a/f screw looks like a pain in the ass.
I always use these carbs they come standard on a lot of Chinese pitbike so I got them down
Where to find the EGR block off plate? I don't have the means to weld it. Do you know what size will fit?
Off a gy6 motor 50cc or 150cc on eBay Amazon they are everywhere

Have you checked the basics spark and fuel
And removing the tank vent so it don’t vapor lock
Take if the emission system
The crank case hose,do you have to plug that one or just let it stay open
You leave it open it has to vent
@@motoprosvtp Thank you

i just bought a vm22 26mm is there anything i should know before instart my install and egr delete?
i live near sacramento
I don’t use vm22 carbs they seem to be all issues
And It’s a straight forward process
have alink to the intake manifold you used with this carb>?

Understandable some will need tuning and re jetting depending on we’re you live but as long as it works for you
so the choke cable is no longer used correct?
Yes no longer needed

@sirgh4435 the one with the spring is idle and the flat head one is the mixture screw

Another great video 👍🏿🙏!
any issue with the carb touching the engine liek that? would it be better to have a spacer to raise it up half ana inch>?
Nope run the same set up on all my clones and no issues and Over 4K miles
@@motoprosvtp the spacer that came with my carb and intake is about 2x thicker then yours so my carb is about 1/4 inch from the motor.
You should be okay
turn the AF mix screw counter clockwise to lean right?
Turn it in to Lean it open it to add more
What do with choke wire that’s attached on other side of groom
Remove it completely no need for it

Tighten up ur slack on the cable
@@motoprosvtp my slide goes all the way up and down in the carb. for some reason n my throttle cable is tight and wont spring back. gonna lube it
Yes and check the line for kinks and the throttle tube as well

U need to raise the idle and not going into gear needs a clutch adjustment
Idle on adjustment screw or top of carb? Sorry not used to messing with carbs a lot
It’s on the side of the carb should be a little flat head with a spring u turn it in to raise the idle

Do you have a stock exhaust or aftermarket
Sounds like you might need more fuel up top how does the spark plug look
@@motoprosvtp I’ll have to look in
Morning. I’ll take a pic and send it to ya
Okay no problem

How much did you adjust the air/ mixture screw? I recently installed the same setup and I can't adjust it while its on the bike
I adjust it before I install it I set it down were it’s closed then I got 2 1/4 turns out I also run a 38 pilot jet at sea level in California

Yes carb issue idle is low and needs to be adjusted and ur clutch as well but I would get rid of that carb and get something better
It's the emission system that's turning ur bike off remove it
Thanks for the video!
Your welcome
what filter are you going with?
Fuel filter?
my problem is with the forward facing carburetor you got all the dirt and water off the front tire you're going to ruin your motor
