- Hey guys its been a minute I know. Just been busy theses past few weekends.
But I got a new Grom clone the other weekend, and this was the first ride.
Carburetor is upgraded
17t front sprocket
new chain.
3rd motor mount, and motor mount bolts upgraded
Aftermarket shifter.
That's about it I think. A part 2 will be coming soon as well.

is the speedometer accurate or is it off by 5 or 10?
Yeah it is off. At lower speeds the more accurate it is but as you go faster the difference grows. I believe 19mph is actually 15mph, and 64mph is actually 51 or 52 something like that.
I got a phone mount and use Google maps to now find my accurate speed.

I'm actually really enjoying it. It does have its issues for sure. Not a perfect bike, but it is fun to me atleast. Its a nice daily driver to have to beat on, and take off miles/wear and tear off the R7.
