This song's final guitar solo from Kirk Hammett is one of the most satisfying and melodic moments of thrash and hearing him do it live is epic.

In the video, they show clips from the movie where you can see the patient struggling and the intensity of the music builds up as his frustration escalates. The rapid fire of the drums are meant to sound like machine gun fire. The chaotic guitar solo is meant to mimic his mind spiraling out of control. What makes Metallica great is that the music itself supports the story.
Need to watch the official video !!! Then you will say this song is better. I love live music, but I feel you should watch the official videos first, the way the artist intended it to be then watch live versions for the comparisons
They were nervous when they started playing because this was a first for metal back in the day but by time they got part way through they just let themselves be themselves.

Pro-tip: If it’s Metallica, the only time you should do a live video is if it’s from the Monsters of Rock show in Moscow in 1991. Otherwise please just stick with the studio/music video.
Seattle 89 is another good live show to react to, after having heard the original.

Yeah, not a very good choice. This song, of course, should have been watched in the official video clip.
The funny thing is, the sound quality from this performance is crap compared to the majority of their stuff. Listen to the video, it's worth it.

Metallica must always be viewed/listened in studio, live concert or official video. Never television show content unless focused on metal music.
