And some very complex contracts, usually in the hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars demand that you present a third party bond for the amount of the punishment for not completing the contract, only payable if you indeed broke the contract.
These two guys got scammed for $300. The scammer picked an address out of thin air and told them that was the address for the PHONY JOB. But that does not absolve them of the fact that they were NOT hired by the property owner to replace her driveway.
if this was an actual court where the money came out of their pockets for plaintiffs expense's, they'd really be scammed for a much higher amount when you think about it
