It seems that the the part of the pencil that goes up the nose would fall out and some other things can improve. So along with what the artist has done, some ideas I got from reading the comments, and my own, I suggest:
1. Break off a bit from each end to make the length more realistic.
2. Reverse the pencil to make it look jammed up your nose.
3. Protect both ends with cotton.
4. To make the pencil stay in the nostril and before putting blood-see where the pencil will hang out of the nose and apply liquid latex in that spot between the nose and lip so that the pencil is anchored to the skin. (I recommend gluing down lip hair with a glue stick and letting it dry for protection where you plan to apply latex if you don't want to shave. I use Nair upper lip hair removal the day before applying latex). Understand though that when you talk, smile, frown, or laugh that the pencil may/will move up and down in your nostril. This may tickle or be uncomfortable depending on how far you choose to put the pencil up there lol. It may take away some realism (not much and it beats the alternative of it constantly falling out). If you don't put it in enough: looks fake. Too far: uncomfortable.
5. Don't forget to blend the latex with foundation.

You've done such an awesome job! It may look more realistic if you revers it, though... Put the sharpened end on top, as if it were jammed UP the nose. It's more likely to happen that way, than to have it jammed from the top and actually come out the nostril. Also, break a small piece of the pencil away at the center, to make it shorter. That will account for the space inside the nose. (Otherwise the pencil looks too long, therefor not as realistic.)

Love this! small suggestion babe, break the pencil a couple centimeters more on each half so that it looks more real, like the real length of a pencil going through and not so long. loveeee it! 💋💋
