  • The Fujifilm X-T3 may be around five years old but it still has a lot to offer as a hybrid camera. With a 26MP sensor, beautiful image quality and some great video specs, there's a lot to still love about the X-T3 and at a much lower price than a brand new camera, you have more left to spend on lenses. Let's talk about it

    I'm happy with my XT3 and will be for the future ,no need to upgrade to anything else for years. Didn't buy xt 4 as it was expensive at that time and xt 3 was way cheaper with little compromise. I'm not obsessed with upgrading and have so much more to discover.

    Using it for weddings and events for both video and photo. No issues here. Still good for years to come

    I just picked up a used Fuji XT3 for $900 excellent condition with 1 year warranty. I'm going to trade in my Sony a6400 to pick up a XS10 for my back up photography/video camera. Fuji makes me want to shoot

    XT-1, XT-2 & XT-3 are great cameras. Except for the battery weakness.

      Batteries are cheap and pocketable though - I've never needed more than 2 or 3 in a day so far.

      How do you cope with the overheating

    • @MikeLeski
      @MikeLeski 5 місяців тому

      @@adebowaleayobami9975 , I don't. And it's simply because I've never experienced it :) Then again, I've never used the camera for longer than 30mins video recording. I can imagine that if the hardware (and software) is stretched beyond that time, perhaps it's inevitable that any camera would start heating up?

    I bought a used xt3 from Park cameras it is still very good in 2023 If you are shooting on a tripod then adding a usb power bank will cure the battery life longevity issues.I use a Portkeys portable monitor that gets past the lack of flip screen.

    The metering dial is a must for me, I shoot a lot in priority, and use the metering dial heavily. One they moved that to menus, that was a deal-breaker, IBIS be darned. Did they really need a whole dial to switch between movie and stills??

    What did you do to that footage? Downscale then upscale? Looks muddy

  • @thegeneral123
    @thegeneral123 Рік тому +6

    Yes, very good camera. Video performance is good as well. If you can get for the right price, this is a great option.
    Only weaknesses are that there's no IBIS, the Fuji 126 batteries are weak compared to modern models. So use the Fuji battery grip. Which means the camera balances better with bigger lenses but sadly means this APS-C camera is bigger than most Full Frame cameras then. Oh and the autofocus performance is quite a bit behind modern cameras. It really has awful tracking and eye detect. Most other uses though the AF is just fine, really good actually.

    I was lucky to buy this used for $720 in 2019 from a rental shop. I probably won’t give it up anytime soon.

    Why are most of the secondhand XT-3s sold as body only, without a lens? Just realised, if people are upgrading to XT-4 they’re probably keeping their lenses.

    The difference between the X-T2 and X-T3 might be big, especially in the video department, but the difference between the X-T1 and X-T2 was tectonic...

    Sony A7iii was what I got after I had already owned the Fuji XT2 and XT3. Loved the Fuji but the Sony A7iii just crushed it for photography. Rarely a miss in studio or in low light. The Fuji just disappointed me catching shots. Lots of blur. Still enjoy the Fuji stuff but not for auto focus.

    If you are shooting action Fujifilm is mostly trash. AF performance is not very good nor is low light performance.

      @@tslaces back in the day. I use to shoot sports with a preset 400mm 6.3. But back then cameras shoot 4-5 frames per second on fully charged batteries.
