Really cool item. The air intake made out of ABS pipe was creative. Nice little engine. I love engines like this: practical, small, multiple uses, light enough to man-handle with a dolly on one's own, etc. The clamp extension worked! Good Job, Steve! 4+ years sitting and over it went!
How's she goin'? That's a smart looking diesel engine there Steve. And it started up some good after being stored for so long. It was super clean and no signs of critters being in and around it. That was nice to see. And posting all those notes sure is a great idea because no matter what we think, our memories aren't what they used to be!! It runs some smooth. I bet you'll think of some 'epic' project for this engine. Thanks for sharing and take 'er easy!!
Hi Steve, that’s a really smooth running and quiet diesel engine - excellent work on the storage work too, both internally and externally were looked after - that’s the way to do it 👍🏻 boy that could generate enough electricity for your camp and your neighbours camp lol cheers
Steve, did you hear me yell, "the muffler is loose"! Bet that engine is worth a lot more today than when you bought it. Sell it and retire! Haha Happy New Year pal.
Thats a nice little engine to be stuck with. If I had that I would do a permanent base for it in the yard and when I have nothing to do just start it and let it run just to here it. Soon you won’t be able to get something like that. All your going to be able to get is electric motor so your gouvernement would like you to do. I won’t be around any more so I don’t worry.....CHEERS
So true Gator , no emissions on this at all. Bought this from a plant in Ottawa that builds gensets for the military and for refers , the government changed emissions regulations so they were allowed to sell them to the public , I bought 2 of 650 that went for auction on eBay.
The good thing about these small kubota diesels, because they are low hp, even with the final tier emission standards, they remain relatively unaffected by emission standards. I've got one in a genset at my camp/house and It always puts a smile on my face when it starts up just fine at -30c all by itself. Runs at 3600rpm and still uses very little fuel. Tuff engines.
Such a cool little engine. They're around 10hp, aren't they? I can think of a ton of uses for it but I'd probably build a large inverter generator. First I'd put it on a gokart! lol

Hi Craig, kubota always starts so easy on a good battery . Cheers 👍
Nice trouble shooting on the battery issue. What a nice engine. I love Kubota equipment. If you weren't so far away I'd buy that gem.
Thanks Wyatt not sure what I'm going to build with it but it's stored away till then.

Hi Mike Yes an epic build for sure if I could think of one. LOL

Hi Ed
It's a gem forsure. Hopefully I do do something with it . Cheers 👍
Hi Steve, WOW, what a cool little engine. You find some amazing things. Thanks Friend
Hi Ronald
Yes, it's a cool old style diesel, plain and simple . Cheers 👍
That is a great little engine and I could find lots of uses for it. Cheers Steve
Hi Lloyd
It's a gem but for now it's a box in the yard:)
Very cool engine and there’s nothing more unique on your channel than you Buddy! 🍻
HAHAHA thanks Doug 👍
Nice rig Steve👍 Although its not a big deal primming the system a filter head primer pump would do the trick!
Thanks for showing✌
Once primed it always starts on the first crank , take care bud.

Hi Glen , not sure what's it's worth but I bet there is a market for it forsure.

Nice small engines and I had seen your log splitter with one...run good...CHEERS@@SteveRobReviews
Hey Steve. That was pretty cool, thanks for showing ❤
Hi Kenny
Thanks for taking a look. 👍
Nice steve i remember the log splitter video. Good engine ill be up to pick it up in the spring lol
HAHAHA it's going to turn into something practical. When is a another thing :)

Yes absolutely. This is a tier two I believe. Cheers 👍
Sounds good Steve!
Hi Mike
Yes, absolutely, it purrrrs ......
Nice little engine, likely appreciated in value!
Hope you come up with something to use it for, generator perhaps?
I'm thinking about many applications but not sure what to build .

Bruce It's 13.5 hp built for a refer 5 quart oil pan . Genset is the logical choice .
I was thinking just the other day wondering if you still had your spare Kubota diesel engine.
Looks brand new to me.
Hi Rick , I should build something with it but that's the problem WHAT :)
I buy two of everything 😂🤣, I love it!!
HAHAHA , one exception, wives !!!
About time you give that little guy a job!😂
Hi Chase
HAHAHA yes absolutely.
thats pretty cool.
Thanks Anthony 👍
