This Disney song from "The Little Mermaid" is on p.46 of Alfred's Adult Greatest Hits Level 1. It was composed by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken and first recorded by Jodi Benson for the animated feature film in 1989. In the song, the mermaid character "Ariel" is expressing her desire to become human and be a part of the world on land rather than "Under the Sea".
I like to do a poco ritardando in measures 14 and 46 before the fermata. --Norma
This piano arrangement is by Tom Gerou.

Most Favorite Disney Song EVER!!! JOY JOY JOY!!!
I've always liked this one too!! Norma
Thank you for uploading this. I just ordered the book and will be using your vids to make sure I’m playing them right. I got my keyboard back in December and am learning to play.
Wonderful! So glad that you've embarked on the musical adventure! Welcome and let me know how it goes. --Norma
Oh its little faster than i thought. Thank you for this.
You are welcome! It could go a bit slower than this, but it still needs to be at a singable tempo. You can check yourself by singing along a bit and see how it feels. --Norma
can you recommend any books like this one? Im getting bored of it lol
There are LOTS of books available in this category. It just depends on if you want Broadway, Movie, Disney, Pop....another variety book...or a specific movie, broadway show, or pop artist collection. Look for books that have the "Easy Piano" label on them and then also "preview pages" to see if the music looks to be of a level that you are comfortable with. Also, there is a Level 2 book in the "Alfred's Adult Greatest Hits" series if you are ready for that one. If you have a specific song that you are looking for, look it up on MusicNotes.com where it is available for digital download. On that site, you can "preview" many different arrangements of the same song and find one that is at your level. --Norma
Good
I wish you have a step by step for this
Sorry, but due to time constraints, we simply provided videos of performance tempo examples of songs on our channel. --Norma
I completely understand. I just need to be able to perform this in just a couple of weeks and for the life of me can't find a step by step. So I have watched this repeatedly pausing to see what you're doing 😂
At least with You Tube, you can watch it as many times as you need to. Maybe someone knows how to slow down the playback....I'm not a techy....you could try to google it?? --Norma
That's a genius idea, and I think I can figure it out. Thank you. Love the video by the way. Wish I was already that good.
Hope it works. Let me know how it goes. Aloha, Norma
Why is this one so difficult?
Maybe the rhythm? Might just be too, that it isn't as patterned as a song from a method book. Pop style songs tend to be a bit more challenging since they are usually composed with more of a vocal focus. --Norma
