- Shot Show has been incredible for Day 1!!! We visited the Caldwell booth and were blown away by there brand new Chronograph that uses Blip Radar! why does this mater? Well, because this measures the the speed of the projectile all the way to 100 Yards, and not just a few feet or yards like the rest do! This works with Archery, Air Rifles, Crossbows, Rifles, Handguns, and Shotguns!!!! It looks like a May Release and a price point of under 500 dollars!!

Someone pleas correct me as i might be wrong, but how can that device measure the ballistic coefficient of a bullet solely based off the speed in which it tracks it? The ballistic coefficient should be how little the bullet deviates left right up and down due to wind (the higher the BC the better the results) so would that mean you would have to input the wind speed and direction before shooting so it can track how much the bullet is deviating during its tracked flight?
I recommend going to their webpage for all the information on how that is done. All chronographs do this, to a degree.

@@lupooutdoors in up here in Canada so maybe we get next year lol…just learned we won’t be getting Roger American gen2 because it accepts ar mags…FJT
@@mikeh5908 how much does that suck!! I have two currently, one in .223 and the other in 450 Legend. I’ll be doing a review very soon!
@@lupooutdoors dang..maybe ruger will make a Canada version…lol single shot..no mag…I really want .308. Maybe I can “find” one that snuck across the border lol
@@mikeh5908 so far, it works well, but there are a few things for the review that are questionable. The fact that it’s a bolt action rifle and they are prissy about the mag is ridicules.
