As a comment for the interviewer; Please __do not__ interrupt the speaker/interviewee as they are literally answering your question. We want to hear what they have to say, in a complete sentence or paragraph if need be. You interrupted this man multiple times to interject statements about yourself and/or your own experiences with Labradar [okay we get it you like them] stepping on his ability to detail his own product.
Being Caldwell it should be competitively priced. I like the actual BC calculation. That's a buying point for me.

isn't 100 yards too close to get a reliable BC? When I tried calculating BC from the gen1 labradar it was not reliable.
By chance do we know which BC (G1 G7 RA4) it calculated/is able fo calculate?
true BC measurement is critical to calc down range terminal ballistics... price is slightly higher than a LabRadar but it does the math for you... I want one.
You have a bigger unit. WHY didn’t you put a little bigger screen. That would have made your unit MUCH more attractive. . The screen on the Caldwell is actually smaller than Garmin and Labradar. WTF ?
Small is more important to me. And the most important thing is always the result on the target.
Sold my LabRadar this week before prices drop. Market prices for these types of products will decrease. So don't buy too quickly and wait.
His description of “chirp” radar is a precise description of pulse Doppler or in his words “dumb radar”. Please stop patronizing us. Doppler radar literally measures the distance from the emitter to the target multiple times then calculates the velocity by comparing the difference in distance to time.
In this far better interview the demo person is actually allowed to speak and answer the question toward that in a complete manner. He explains how other competing products use Doppler in a different manner than his product.

More functions than garmin at same price... And same as fx at half the price. Does not seem like competition if it delivers in its promises

I’m mildly impressed that True knew that different barres deform bullets differently and that that affects BCs. Also, I like a bigger Chronograph. I’m worried that I’m going to leave my Garmin behind (after having a Gen1 Labradar for 8 years).
A difference in MV compared to the Labradar and Garmin? I watched a comparison video between Labradar and Garmin and they were basically identical. If the Caldwell is different, might it be the Caldwell is just wrong and they're saying their unit is more accurate but in reality is actually just wrong?
Getting the BC could be a very interesting data (if this device realy can measure it "seriously"). Think about comparing the BC from a new barrel and over its lifetime or the BC from a clean barrel vs a fouled barrel or a barrel with 100 shots on it. Maybe there is no difference but today I am not aware that this data is available for the "normal" shooter. Or the BC of the same type of bullet in different barrels (different twist rates, gaining twist, 4 "grooves vs 6 grooves, etc). Depending on the outcome it could lead into better products because the shooting community is getting a new toy and could create new data, because today the BC measurement is restricted only to a "handfull" people.
So it works exactly the same as Doppler radar. lol. I hope it is a good unit though. Time and testing will tell if the BC calculation is just hype.

They are a year behind when they said it would get out last year. Nice try Caldwell, but it is not even comparable to the Labradar or Garmin. Both of those give VERY GOOD MV. With that data i am hitting at a mile with a 6.5CM using AB software. You CANNOT get a BC for long distance based on 100 yds of tracking. Impossible. It may work for Air gun pellets since the distance is short, but CF rifle rounds, its a joke. To say Doppler is Dumb is BS. Explain to me how a figher jet can launch a missile, track a supersonic plane and blow it out of the sky at 20+ miles away.
