Hello everyone! Couriway here, today I'm going to show you one of the WACKIEST Minecraft speedruns I've had in my quest to beat minecraft 100,000 times! This episode has been completely sabotaged by magma cubes so I hope you enjoy them :)

1.19 is so inconvenient to run, super impressive you got 3rd Couri - love the uploads!
Disabling the gamma change option is legitimately gross. My problem is that I can't even play on the regular brightness, my eyes are super strained by the darkness, even during nighttime outside I can feel it, caves are just overkill, my head starts to hurt in just a few minutes, and I feel genuinely sick. Instead of making it an accessibility setting, they removed it. I can't even enjoy the new updates, thanks Mojang. But even if it wasn't making me sick, I'd argue gamma value of up to 3 actually makes the atmosphere of the game much better. Torches still make sense because the darkness is still present, but at least you can see how amazing the new caves look instead of seeing a big black space of nothingness.
I 100% agree with you about it being an accessibility thing, i also have a really hard time with my eye sight and the strain only makes it worse, if i did this any more than once every 100 runs it would be a serious problem for me
Why don't you use fullbright
@@Vihaan-hl3lp It ruins the mood of the game. I want the dark places to be dark, just not so much that it strains my eyes. That is why I would usually use gamma 3 as a nice middle ground and I definitely wouldn't go above 5.
@@Pepso8P there are also gamma mods like gamma utils that can change the gamma
@@Vihaan-hl3lp Thanks for the tip. I was hoping for a solution that does not require mods, but I guess there is no such option. At least I wasn't able to find any. I actually spent a ton of time figuring out how to create my own resource pack to get a similar effect, which worked kind of ok, but it wasn't the same as gamma.

I believe Couriway is one of the most consistent speedrunners; he doesn't rely on high rolling much (that I've seen)

And yes, beaches are enormous and deserts are super rare in 1.18+.

You’ve probably gotten a comment about this before but small water / lava pools no longer generate. This has been the case since 1.18.
I suck too much at dealing with piglin brutes so in my AA 1.19 run i got my pearls from villagers, i got like 5 from endermen, and i found a bridge bastion and the gold was really easy to get but after trading all the gold i got like 3 pearls lmao

Just started watching this channel regularly now and great videos. One thing I would like to suggest, maybe try making more funny edits i your video. They always make me laugh and it’s fun cause viewers have an extra thing to expect while watching you speed run.

Can you collect cobwebs with shears and craft each of them into 9 string, I know you can do this in bedrock but I don't know about Java

100k speedruns that take 45 minutes each would take 22058 streams (if he doesnt change his average of 3:24 hours/minutes)
thats 60 years if he streams every day, aka he's NOT completing this.

why do the 16.1 strats not work in 1.19 anyways
1.16.2 added brutes, and bad pearl, obbi, and string trades.
1.17 added deepslate and messed up the pie chart.
1.18 added bad terrain, removed magma ravines, and reduced structure spawns.
1.19 removed the f3+f render distance, the deep dark, gamma 5, and changed the way eye of enders are rendered.
1.20 and versions beyond will probably add something to make things slower.
