@@anseldejong ye but that would be boring, jumping out of a black building after killing the big boss and then saving yourself is very much hackingnoises behavior
watching them side-by-side like this is a great eye opener. like how the RNG affects every run even at the start, even a dolphin spawn helps a heck ton and not to forget that all this runners makes split second decisions that makes this even more exciting. what a fun Event, thanks Couri!♥
absolutely loved this tourney, so glad it's gonna be a regular thing :D also seed 9 was so so insane, winning while having to run back to get an extra rod is nuts
I went with the runners i did because of consistency in tournaments and in mcsr ranked, nofear has proven to be inconsistent and zylenox is amazing but had just gotten back from a month away on vacation, so was a bit rusty
I wish Reignex era was still happening… :(( Excellent video though Couri, I want to see an ‘old guard vs. new guard’ one with all the old RSG runners (reignex, you maybe, Feinberg, Benex? Nicetwice, silver, all the old guys vs. lowkey, priffin, doog or smth like that). Prob not a good idea but idk if you could bring some people back for a tourney I’d love to see it!
This is genuinely incredible, I remember the original 1000 run challenge and thinking there's no way it would be possible. Yet here you are having tripled that. Here's to another 3,000✌🏻
I was super impressed with how quickly Silverr broke down the desert temple only to see that while he was busy doing that, the others were already in the Nether
this event was awesome but next time can you have like an incredibly average speedrunner (or even someone who doesnt speedrun but knows how to play the game) playing too for reference so it makes the big guys more impressive
This was fun but quite intimidating to watch as someone who doesn't know much about mc speedruns. A sort of voice over post game review of what the players did almost smant style might appeal more to the layman? just a thought :)
very cool format! for me it's confusing that the screens constantly swap especially with the final 3 every player should have their dedicated screen position.
Can someone PLEASE tell me the name of the song in the background at 25:20? I swear I heard it before but just cant lay my finger on it PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
All I'm saying is that Feinberg had 5 total wins, while Doogile only had 4, I think it would be interesting if this was similar to how some Trackmania tournaments are run, where you get points until a threshold which makes you finalist, and once you are finalist you need to win a match in order to win it all.
@@pyv0x733 You misunderstand, I'm saying that hypothetically if 10 points was the cutoff, Feinberg would have been finalist once he had 10 points, along with Doogile who got that after round 2. Then he is fighting to get a first, or firsts, doesn't matter, but after a becoming a finalist, get first a few times to win. While they are finalists, the other players are still trying to get to 10 points in order to become finalist as well and then try to rack up firsts.
YIPPEE! This was really fun to commentate - sorry if I sound quite tired in the booth, hope I still got across how hype this tournament truly was :)

The best part of this tournament is seeing how excited Couri is the entire time and gives a fair share of enthusiasm for all the runners
That would have been an insane comeback from Fein, rough finals after such a dominant first part
Doogile either won or did not finish every seed. Bro hates getting second
4:38 Hax was so unlucky there...

It was a very tough zero. The only way for him to save was if he jumped as he blowed the last bed and pearl clutch to the ground

Doog proving he's the GOAT, like again!
Woulda loved to see NoFear1337 and Zylenox in this, as they could definitely give Doog a run for his money.
one of the runners was very late and couri said he had zylenox ready on the backburner as a sub in 😂 so almost!!

This was a fantastic tourney Couri. Best format of competitive mc speed running I’ve seen
21:30 "everything should be fein here" 😆
feinberg got a 1/1000 leave drop at 36:22
The og music around 16:44 (when i first noticed it) is bringing so much nostalgia
Wait this is so fire, maybe this could be a tradition?
I plan on it being a tradition!
Excited for it! Also GG doog W
Currently watching the VOD and it is crazy entertaining, will watch everything if you ever organize another tournament with the same concept
When I watch speed run videos my brain hurts
😂 how about 4 at the same time
LOL i was about to say that
just get good

an event where the host is this excited an passionate just cannot be topped! SO much fun to watch, cannot wait for the next one.
sad though that you cut the extensive mukbang sessions down to a minimum :(

seed 9 was crazy. they all got so incredibly unlucky in different ways

I genuinely stand by this and have been saying it for years. Doogile is the best overall minecraft player of all time.
WE NEED MORE OF THIS!!🔥
Just to let you know at 0:26 you have geklows skin instead of doogile
