The Beatles are the only band that can chant Nananaanananananana for 5 minutes without getting booed off the stage.
I hope you know the backstory for this song: John Lennon was in the middle of a divorce from his first wife. His son Julian, whom everyone called Jude was having a hard time dealing with the divorce, so Paul McCartney wrote this song for him.
On a more personal not, I had my first "slow dance" to this tune, and it had a profound effect on me; ever since the song evokes that same feeling in me. It's very pleasant.

Morenikeji, you no longer have to share your earphone with your sister or anyone else. All you have to do is go to Ebay or Amazon and order a Headphone Splitter. They're only about $3.00 and this will allow you to plug two sets of earphones into one adapter and then you plug the adapter into your computer and you can both listen in stereo! Also, if you need a longer cord for the other listener, just buy a headphone extension cord. Its that simple. I LOVE your reactions and keep up the good work.

You need to get a "y-jack" to connect both sets of ear-buds. You can get one for a few bucks at Best Buy or on Amazon or elsewhere. Artists (especially the Beatles) often mix their music with, let's say, a guitar only in the right ear or left ear so you really need to hear both sides to get the full experience.

Forgot to add, when we listened to music in the 1960's and 70's, we would put on the album on the stereo and listen on huge full sized cabinet speakers, which gave us the full sound of a live performance. Kids today hear everything on tiny earbuds which cannot in any way give you that full sound we grew up with. Stereo systems need to make a come back. I still have by whole system and it still sounds great.

"Jude' was John Lennon's first son, Julian "Jules" Lennon. McCartney wrote it for Julian, who would have been around 6 or 7 years old then. John was divorcing his mother for Yoko Ono at the time. With familial kindness, the lyrics of “Hey Jude” comfort Lennon’s young son, and remind him that love is not something to fear. Hey Jude, don’t let me down. / You have found her, now go and get her. / Remember to let her into your heart, / Then you can start to make it better, McCartney continues to sing to Julian.

The song is about grief and transcendance, mixing the personal and the political. The song was written in tumultuous, tragic year of 1968, and the song concerns the traumatic impact of Beatle John Lennon's divorce upon his son Sean ("Jude"), but also about the grief that the world was feeling over the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., Robert F. Kennedy ("Jude" also means, "Jew," or "Jewish," an allusion to how Western society had made Jews and other marginalized people scapegoats) , and the sufferings of young people by armed police as the young Boomers were protesting against racism, police brutality, the Vietnam War, and the destruction of the environment.
The song is a beautiful hymn, but knowing its true meanings--the entwining of personal loss (break-up of a family) with the political/social loss of enlightened leaders and young people attempting to change the world-- lends the song its true meanings and tragic "awokeness": Hey Jude was written and performed over fifty years ago, but its core themes speak to issues of TODAY.

The best song of the greates and most sold band ever - the numbers vary, but in times with much poorer people they sold around 1,2 billion parts - nothing electrical downloads with fakes but real.
The achived 8 out of 10 hits in the american charts at the SAME time :)
This is the best great britain had ever brought to the world.
