Joel despite your level of sophistication is two points above ground zero, you are great at Bows, love your video, from a boring old git in England, thanks man.
Love the video! I have not made any bows, so this is just a question. Wouldn't you want the handpiece fades cut before you tiller the bow? Wouldnt the sharp corrner cause weakness in that spot as you work in the bow?
Hi Joel! You did a wonderful job, I liked it. A question: I have seen bowyers making bows who chase the ring at the back of the bow. You never chased a ring, is it becuase you have backed your bow with three layers of fiberglass?
Thank you four kind words. The selection of lumber I had to chose from was not great and none of the boards available had the right grain for chasing a ring. The fibreglass backing makes it much stronger.

Good job, looks nice! I have made several Mollegabet bows with Red Oak. God bless you, and enjoy your new bow.

Well done my man, I hope you get to take a shot at something with it this season.
Well done young man 👍👍
Nice. What's the draw weight?
Looks similar to the bows I make, you can order some 72" powerglass that you can Laminate to the back, its like $20, super durable and makes it pretty
Awesome!
Good job mate, that red oak comes up nice, did you take the arrowshelf right to center orna little less?
Very Very excellent I like it
Reckon you've got enough glue there bud?😂
the bow is very beautiful, can you tell me what wood you make, thanks

why do some light a fire and put a bow over the fire
Solo se debe llamar longbow al arco tradicional inglés te tiene unas formas y características específicas
Red oak gets very brittle after about 6 months.
How many pounds is it
