the intercooler was purchased from ebay, the fuel pump is all manual from a 2lt not 2lte so fueling was manually, the lds pin was rotated to its max and the main screw turned in
Hey, Steve! How much pressure have u got on your turbo? Originally, this engine has 91hp and 19Nm so it's very strange having only 100hp and 200ft. (27 Nm) using turbo and intercooler... I'm expecting to reach 130hp and +30 Nm using 0,6bar on the turbo.
+André Campos let me know how you get on, i dont have the vehicle any more, but would love to see more power from the motor i always thought it could give more, no idea why 100hp, i am not sure the guys running the r road had a clue to be honest,

I'll keep my 3 door Montero, fit a 3.2 DID Mitsubishi engine and make a SAS using Dana44 in both front and back of the car =DDDDDD Oh, yeah, E-lockers, 2" inch body lift and 4" suspension lift with bigger links (4 links are too complicated, I'm going to stay with 2 links) and BF Mud 35" =) How do I find you on Facebook?

no problems at all, i actully had it on the rolling road (how accurate i dunno) at japfest car show at the weekend, and its max 200 ft-lbs torque and 100hp so its not that much power really,
I've found a few factory diesels in the states that have gone for around 8 grand. I've also found a couple diesel hiluxes online from the mid 90's for around 20,000 usd that were imported from japan. One took nearly a month to sell. I couldnt believe it took so long to sell and it was in really good shape too!

Did you try driving this with the 35's on the standard diffs before the aftermarket ones were put in?
Yes. I wanted improved acceration over top end speed.

The engine would be around 71kw and 286nm if its a 2.8L with aftermarket turbo

i have the same model, had it since the 98' engine still feels like new, not the interior, atleast the engine lol.

the turbo on a diesel makes them quieter, but non turbo petrol/diesel, i would guess would be just as loud

In Australia they do, in the UK parts are used from the 2.4 turbo hilux surf
