Obviously way too much fat can lead to gout and clogged arteries and what not but in general fat is a necessary part of our diet and we are designed to consume quit a bit of animal fat. Cutting out or significantly reducing your CARBOHYDRATE intake would be way more effective at fat loss rather than eliminating animal fats.

Not at all I’ve been loosing weight on a high fat diet. Fat and protein are the only nutrients your body needs. The only time I eat carbs is after a workout to stimulate insulin with my protein shake.

Ate strictly animal based (eggs, grass fed meats of ruminant animals, a bit of raw cheese, ghee/grass fed butter/tallow and avocados and fruits to get some minor amount of healthy carbs) and I lost almost 30 lbs in 2 months. I wasn’t super skinny but wasn’t even very heavy prior to the weight loss. Believe in the diet whole heartedly. Important though also is I took desiccated beef organ pills also to make sure I am getting the extra nutrients that a strictly muscle meat diet can lack in. Fiber is not necessary. Saturated fat gets such a bad wrap.. there is huge benefit in grass-fed animal fat. The biggest thing was consistency and cutting out seed oil, grain, and sugar. These are the bodies worst enemy. Once you hit your goals indulge yourself once in a while, need to enjoy the food this world has to offer but until then be strict and be consistent!

The cheaper and more effective alternative is 93/7 ground turkey. It provides more protein per serving than ground beef. Yeah you need fat and protein. But you will hit your fat limit well before you hit your protein limit with ground chuck.
80/20 use the blackstone flat top. Fat runs off to a little can...which I save for cooking other stuff. I've dropped 32-lbs eating carnivore and I feel better and sleep much more soundly. But I walk and bike daily...so no matter what anyone says...calories in calories out... Protein helps with any muscle loss & fats keep me full and my hormones balanced.

Stick to grass fed grass finished 85 15. You don’t need to sacrifice flavor and you will loose fat with strength training. If you can cook them in the grill even better!

A happy medium is grass fed 85%. If you are making sketti or some noodle concoction you are draining that fat off leaving the meat behind. You can even rinse it with water to get it all off and then dump it in your sauce. You have to watch out for the super lean stuff as you might be getting select grade meat.
Just make it easy and buy chicken or turkey. You're paying like 2x the price per gram of protein for beef. Not saying never have beef if you like it, do what you want

I respectfully disagree sir, at least on my personal experience goes. I get my ground beef imported from an ancient land in Colorado, USA; I have done 90 days on a variety of fat/protein ratios. From 95/5 % lean, 85/15% , down to where I’m best at health wise, 73/28%. I’m not saying I’m a research scientist, but, from the CBC blood work up a had, with the 4 different, lean/fat ratios, it wasn’t even close, the 90 days on the 73 lean/28 fat percentage, only eating the fattiest ground beef, Gave me the optimal blood levels, and and average daily blood glucose,(checked twice daily) averaged 76 on two calibrated glucose meters. My blood ketones, (Checked once per day) averaged 4.7mmols, throughout the 90 days. I only drank purified water, with TDS (Total Dissolved Solids at around 30-60. Our well has clean water alone, but to eliminate some slight iron sediment, we run our cooking/drinking water through our 6 gallon Crown Berkey water filter. Take care!

I've been eating 80-20 on weekdays once a day one pound. I have not exercised and I've lost 16 pounds in less than 2 months
I want as much nutrients from my beef as possible. I’m gonna do the 80/20. Fat doesn’t make you fat.

A happy medium is grass fed 85%. If you are making sketti or some noodle concoction you are draining that fat off leaving the meat behind. You can even rinse it with water to get it all off and then dump it in your sauce. You have to watch out for the super lean stuff as you might be getting select grade meat.
Just make it easy and buy chicken or turkey. You're paying like 2x the price per gram of protein for beef. Not saying never have beef if you like it, do what you want

Lean ground beef dawg. Preferably 90 to 10 or 87 13 ratio. Trust me man I’ve done my own research and I know half the things he knows just by my experiences
So the upside to the high fat meats he said to avoid is they make you more full, since fat is denser, so it’ll be easier to eat less.
You can strain out the fat after cooking and use it for veggies, roasts or other things

I respectfully disagree sir, at least on my personal experience goes. I get my ground beef imported from an ancient land in Colorado, USA; I have done 90 days on a variety of fat/protein ratios. From 95/5 % lean, 85/15% , down to where I’m best at health wise, 73/28%. I’m not saying I’m a research scientist, but, from the CBC blood work up a had, with the 4 different, lean/fat ratios, it wasn’t even close, the 90 days on the 73 lean/28 fat percentage, only eating the fattiest ground beef, Gave me the optimal blood levels, and and average daily blood glucose,(checked twice daily) averaged 76 on two calibrated glucose meters. My blood ketones, (Checked once per day) averaged 4.7mmols, throughout the 90 days. I only drank purified water, with TDS (Total Dissolved Solids at around 30-60. Our well has clean water alone, but to eliminate some slight iron sediment, we run our cooking/drinking water through our 6 gallon Crown Berkey water filter. Take care!
