Yep,the uncompromising real deal.I feel fortunate to have seen them live, often.I'll even forgive beloved old Lux for sweating all over me and pulling his waistband too low while on stage.
@@yecatsays I was born in 82 so I missed a lot,but my sister was there and she's got nearly all their 45's. In fact she's got loads of amazing 45's, pistols, clash, and many more. Would be good if I could copy them somehow.✌
I was Cramps mad in my teens. They did 7 dates in 8 days, & I went to all 7, Leeds, Manchester, Leicester, Birmingham, & 3 in London. Never even knew this was filmed.Great gigs, great band.
I haven't a clue who filmed this but I watched it so many times on here and thought hang on, what if it disappears........I'll copy it just in case. Fast forward and sure enough it went, so although I'm a know nothin' I put my copy up here. I've downloaded some other stuff I wouldn't like to live without but they're all still around so I've bunged 'em on a USB stick for posterity. I wish I'd been born a few years earlier (I'm 1971) I'd have been there with bells on. I love 'em!
I was 17 at the time, & hitched around the UK by myself with a sleeping bag, tickets for the gigs (which I'd sent away for when the tour was advertised), & a few pounds in my pocket. I think back on it as a magical time, never to be repeated.

POISON AND LUX. Music, Insanity and Brilliance. I was able to catch in Chicago in mid 80's and PHX in 90's. Found out about of them in 82, no other band entertains with the devil of Hasil Adkins. If you are a purest and really want the hillbilly that spawned this psychobilly, do yourself a favor.

Legendary! The Cramps made something that was rock and roll purity.

You have to take out a mortgage to go to 7 gigs in a week these days! 🤣

What the fifties would have been like if they hadn't been sooooo up tight
There were raw bands back then , they just didnt get any spotlight..
@@Mortslake Punk Rock already existed in the 50s, it was just revived and unearthed in the 70s!
@@jorjicostava6657Sure , but garagebands and bands like The Stooges was from the 60s.
