It really pissed me off when they changed it in the movie to have the Priest sing it with Fantine instead of Eponine. I was at least looking forward to seeing them singing that song together since the movie was already horrible with the bad singing and bad acting(except for Barks) and since I've seen this version(plus have this 25th anniversary on DVD). But no, change it and have a totally different character sing it instead. Dammit. They need to redo the movie and get THIS cast to be in it(except for Nick Jonas) and do it just like this anniversary. Not cut out songs or anything too. This was the best version of Les Misérables. Even better than the 10th anniversary.
@darkiee69 I've seen a few explanations for this. The most logical to me was: Valjean saved the life of Fantine's daughter, Cosette, allowing her to live on with her beloved Marius (who was saved by Valjean in the sewers). Eponine then sacrificed her own life, despite her own feelings for Marius, which allowed Cosette and Marius to marry. Through this sequence of events, Valjean was able to witness Cosette find love and happiness before he died. *However, we wonder if any of this would have happened, had the Bishop not allowed Valjean to begin a new life!
Wow my singing teacher was understudying Alfie Boe in this performance im pretty sure. I feel so blessed to be taught by him, hopefully going to make this a career! That aside, Alfies voice is truly stunning here. Just so full of passion.

Whenever you are creating a video, KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF THE ZOOM BUTTON. It is extremely disconcerting and annoying. If you are going to zoom in and out, do it rarely and then VERY slowly. Pick your subject and then stick to it. If it is wide shot stay there, if it is a close up then stay there. All that zooming and wandering detracts hugely from what could have been a very nice and significant video.
Thank you!
You barely showed Samantha Barks before their part was over 😒
Nick Jonas (facepalm)......esp when you’re used to hearing Michael Ball’s rendition.
Or Gareth gates
Facepalm because he was the best?
@@evann5451 Is that the general definition of facepalm?
I wish it was Simon Bowman
Is Nick Jonas allergic to looking at the person he's talking to? I get cheating out, but you still gotta look like you're talking to someone
