Great stuff ! We need more like him these days when music isn’t what it used to be. For a second I thought the other guitarist was Bruce Springsteen!! 😀👍👍👍
The best version by far I've been able to find live! Man, sucks I had to be born in the 80's! George was a beast back then! Been debating on going to see him in Nashville on March 3rd, but after watching alot of the recent videos on here of live shows afraid I''d be disappointed! The crowds seem dead, maybe because old age has caught up and he can't move around as gracefully? The band doesn't seem to have the same enthusiasum? Too bad Hurricane Carter isn't around anymore, to me seems like the band fed off his energy? Sorry for the long post, just one person's opinion? Keep on rocking George!
I seen him for the 3rd time about a month ago....right before the sheltering started. Yes the boys are up there in age. The crowd too lol. But he rocked. And sounded SO damn good. It was a 2000 seat theater at a casino. The volume....the bass...and clarity was simply outta this world
Been playing the same set list for years. same banter, same jokes. He's mailed it in. Too bad because Jim Suhler is such a great guitarist that they could dust off some classics but its the same 12 songs. Sound is great but its like watching a re run movie. Been to many many shows. I guess he's earned the right but for the price of the tix I'll pass. Thanks GT for the great shows but I'll be sitting them out from now on..
I saw that high calibre, high energy Thorogood in Indy 1988. This is from around then with Steve Chrismar on guitar. The 4 up front all squatted in unison, the lights blinked off & on with them......best show I EVER SAW....BETTER than McCartney twice.
Dealing with end of life issues in regards pre-planning the funeral. Trying to find a funeral home that would show this video during the viewing. No luck
blue collar at Its down and dirty finest makin all the preppy kids run for cover or they might just stick around and get schooled in the art of hard drivin gear jammin duck walkin rock that only lonesome George can throw down with that 80 gauge sandpaper voice of his. Yeah boy if you ain't havin as much fun as him don't let him see ya cause he'll put you on front street in a Delaware minute!
Nothing beats this clasic by the man himself❤
Saw him in London this year...the guy still has it! Pure Class!!

This is the best version performed of Madison Bliues. I've seen it performed 6X. Lance

He is never listed as a top guitarist. Shame! Saw him and DD in Cincy back in 86, I think! One of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen from row 2!
