This was awesome. Thanks for uploading 👍👍
Not a GT fan...or Chuck Berry for that matter...I have seen JB live which kicked ass, but MAN...that was nothing short of AWESOME! I'm now a fan!
I saw George in a club in Grand Rapids in 1989, then in May for Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Rocked both times.
I saw George playing a song with his daughter. They are a rocking family.
George and Joe still sounds great!!!Spartanburg South Carolina. 04/16/2022:
Hi Richard how are you doing 😊
Hi Richard how are you doing 😊
Had tix to see Joe this past march in Knoxville and then got a cancer diagnosis and placed on chemo. Missing that concert is what REALLY chapped my ass. Finally get the chance to see him in concert and fate gives me the 'Ol "F" you finger
George is the (forge)that rock and blues came out of ❤❤❤
Loved seeing George Thorogood at The Alex Hills Pub years ago !!!!
I love George. I saw him at a benefit show for J.C. Dons at the TLA . He was awesome!
PHILLY !!!!!
@Michael Casino. Don't sweat the typo. George and Joe both seem like good people. Cool that George was supportive of Joe early on.
I saw him play in the early 80's on his "50/50" tour. I have fond memories of that show.
I seen him at Riverside Park/ Six Flags in around Springfield, MA. Littlefeat opened for him. I remember once it was his turn, the crowd was way out of hand. GT stopped the music, had security get the few bad ones out of the concert. Had a good talk with the rest of the crowd. Said we here to Rock n Roll let’s have a great time. Really cool.
Thank you so much for sharing your post.
Many travels & concert tickets in the past to see GT.
Shows kept getting shorter & shorter.
But still no regrets. A real rocker!
Hi Uncle Willie how are you doing 😊
Morning Maria;
…not too bad for a Monday 🤘
@@unclewillie1866 good morning from LA to you Uncle Willie, nice to hear from you. I hope you don’t mind me writing you sir. I’m looking for a new friendship Ok😊
@@unclewillie1866 hi Uncle Willie
Not too often have I seen George playing without a slide.
funny interview long time ago asking him about practicing scales and stuff and he was like, i dont do any of that. i dont even like one in the dressing room because i keep kicking it over when i cross a leg or something. lol i thought, wow, hes real dedicated huh. lol now i get it. he is just too cool for the room so, hes cool with or without the guitar sorta thing. lol good ol george. he rocks it
Saw GT in darwin in the 90s what a blast!!🇭🇲🎸
George Badass. Still rockin hard. Love him.
I lost count on how many times I have seen Mr Thorogood play in Australia in the 80s & 90s. I thought he lived here. 🤣😂🎼🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Edit: this was fun thank you very much👏🏻
So cool JB tributes his old mentors.
I have seen George four times over the years..never a bad one. No BS. no political rapping..just an hour of straight ahead rock and good times.
Yeah that's a rarity nowadays , the last thing people want to hear at rock concerts is political crap...
@@mikeg.9238 I saw Ted Nugent at a small venue about ten years ago..a lot of the audience were turned off by his political rantings between songs...I didn't pay to hear Ted bash Obama..just play Cat Scratch Fever and leave the heavy thinking at the door.
@@thomasmurphy9348 I agree with you , no matter what side of the isle your on. I don't want to hear it either , period!!!
@@thomasmurphy9348 Also it really sucks that politics has infected every part of society now. Wasn't like this when i first started going to concerts 40 years ago. It's actually sickening , there's no escape anymore...
@@mikeg.9238 Spot on sir. Hopefully this bullshit will circle back to some relative normalcy.
