Jerry is an enigma. Something about him… he’s made it, doesn’t need to impress anybody anymore and doesn’t really care. Makes him even more funny and interesting.
It is interesting that he still goes on these late night shows. Nobody really watches them.

@@KOSMICKEN09 I’m convinced the numbers are inflated. It’s certainly a dying medium of entertainment. People born before 1980 probably still watch, but I don’t know anyone under 40 that still has basic cable.

That was before my time but I’ll tell you what I’m absolutely in love with Seinfeld ever since they released the episodes on Netflix! You definitely have to check it out! Kramer George and Elaine are 3 of the greatest sitcom characters that have ever been created due to the actors/ and actress they literally made that show great

@@Jtone_philthy_aquatics Glad you fell in love with the series. I was a teen when the show ended and it was heartbreaking. Ratings were still so good, but Jerry decided to end it on a high.
@@mattdrago4660 awww man I can imagine how devastating that must have been for all of the fans at that time! Everything I’ve read from the viewers prospective at that time is how bummed they were about the show ending. It’s unbelievable to see the amount of ppl that watched the finale! That alone shows just how special this show was to the world! One more thing that I found really interesting was that another popular Chanel at that time actually left that time slot blank because they knew everyone would be watching Seinfeld. I’ve never seen anything like that within my life time! That level of respect is truly special! (Btw no disrespect to Jerry as an actor he definitely deserves credit as well!)
@@Jtone_philthy_aquatics Yeah, it's incredible how much this show brought people together. In school, me and my buds would quote lines over and over again and discuss how funny the latest episode was.
Funnily enough, I remember Jason Alexander being the only principle cast member that didn't win an Emmy. They are all so talented in their own ways, but he's pretty special. Seen him live on stage in his one man show, and he can sing, dance, do comedy and act Shakespeare. So talented.
I'm watching this because I'm going through Comedians In Cars for the third time! It's one of my ultimate favourite shows. These guys are great.

Here is the alligator bit as Jerry's daughter would tell it:
The baby alligator thinks "this is great, this guy gives me food and a safe place to live" but then the alligator gets bigger and he thinks "This guy is locking me in the bathroom and not letting me out to do alligator things with the other alligators."
That was fantastic, I needed a good laugh!!

I love jay, I love Seinfeld and I love jimmy, but to say “he hosted the tonight show with a broken leg,” with the tone as if he hosted from his death bed,” is insane! He stood for 7 minutes for a monologue and then sat for 40 minutes…WHAT A HERO!
Jimmy was smart enough to cut short Jerry's on air build up of him, as an always enthusiastic host.
Why? Cos the ultimate Seinfeld teardown that would have inevitably followed shortly after the buildup.. would have been brutal for Jimmy. Smart , real smart Jimmy. 👍

You can see just how far down on the ladder of true comic genius Fallon is while in the presence of a comedian like Seinfeld.

Fallon is great, a national treasure, and I felt jerry came off really well in this interview.
Adam Foley, Fallon is under-appreciated sometimes. I used to feel that way about him, but I began watching his show more during co-vid & have come to recognize his talents. He's probably much more talented than he has opportunity on the show. Didn't realize it at first, but he was the perfect replacement for Carson, who as iconic as he became, wasn't really that versatile or funny as a comedian either, but he was unsurpassed as a host & interviewer.
