In going on msc meraviglia on the 28th of may!
I have many friends who are very positive about this line.
A couple of things to add....
A) Ocean Cay. Unless you are waiting 20 mins ahead of the opening of the Buffet, forget about it. You can wait up to an hour for food.
B) The MSC Meraviligia is short on staff for the last 4 months. A lot of social media post (Video and pictures) of long lines at bars.
Not if you're in the Yacht Club.
@@richandvanessa6120 Good point.... but MSC will need to keep prices cheap to keep passenger booking cruises. Eventually, people will go to other lines.
MSC is building a new buffet restaurant for reg. guests among many other things right now.... with the islands closing currently and until May 22nd. :)

Yes ,they will hold your alcohol till disembarkation. Not sure about the sail off.. Going on the Mereviglia June 4..I will find out then.

Good morning, thank you so much for your amazing videos. I’ve noticed that MSC rooms say that they are for 2 people. We are planning our 1st cruise from Florida (flying to Orlando) in July and we are a family of 4, (two adults and two teens). I wonder if they would accommodate and provide additional beds, so we could all fit. Looking at the cheapest inside rooms, as it is our fist cruise and we won’t spend much time inside and don’t want to break the bank hahah
Many cabins will accommodate four passengers.
we had two adjacent cabins that connected with a door. very useful, we traveled with two kids, 4 and 7 year old.

So you want her to make a 30 minute video that won’t be clicked on as much and that the majority of us will watch on 2X speed? How about instead of making the world bend to YOUR needs you just either slow down YOUR video playback speed in the setting of the video on the top right hand corner or use the pause, rewind button if you are too inept to realize you can do that?

Drink package ? - Can you order one or two drinks when you go to the bar with drink package at a time. just got off Norwegian and you can order tow at a time per person.
Yeah the packages are optional, you can buy per drink if you want although the packages are pretty fairly priced relatively speaking.

As of lately my last three cruises was with MSC and I will never be going on them anytime soon again service and the food is terrible the ships are beautiful and nice but they got to get their act together. Can take up to 3 hours for dinner service. I was on the meraviglia in March
Just curious; MSC had failed your expectations twice in a row, and you still decided to take a third gamble? I have heard of many of bad things about their complimentary food. Let me know if I should take my first gamble with MSC this September. Thanks a lot in advance.
MSC food it’s aimed at European palate. If you are use to American food with higher sugar and salt content, you will probably find the food bland. I like the food but then I find the food in America too salty and rich. It’s what you’re use to eating.
That's what most people say about them, service and food are bad.
It's 5,000 people on board, what do you expect. I tend to stick to the smaller fleets. You get what you pay for.
Does the boat have American or European electric plugs??
The Seascape/Seashore class boats have at least two of each,plus USB plugs. We got euro->US adapters to make more usable options

Gratuities are already built into your fare. They don’t have them separate like on American lines

Sorry. There is a $5.00 fee per electronic for texting w/out internet.

Climbing the lightouse on Ocean Cay is an excursion, you have to pay for it.

Too typical of too many large corps, ignore problems and they will go away. I was on an MSC ship a week ago and most went well but we didn't get beach towels or slippers & robes, not a big deal. Service was great in most places but food at the buffet was as good as any family restaurant and was warm at best. The restaurant food was fairly minimal, although the steak was a good size and overcooked. There is lots of money spent on looks but not substance. I also may have had my personal info stolen while attending the theatre. Not much they can do about it but be aware it can happen. They also nickel and dime you to death. The price for the tickets may easily triple with all the addons. Seems everyone is doing that now. I didn't bother with the food at Ocean Cay as I heard it was a ridiculous wait.

As beautiful as the ships looks online, MSC seems to be another version of Carnival. Overly crowded ships and rude people whom you don't want to associate with. It's probably best to pay for a better cruiseline. Thank you for the video.
Or Yacht club, interior rooms are very reasonable and make it a great deal when you add in all the perks
MSC compromised our safety and security for my wife and myself by giving out our personal information when we reported smoking and drug use right below our balcony from another guest. We had harassing phone calls to our room and harassing visits to our room......inexcusable and unexplainable.....We didn’t expect this and won’t ever sail with them again!!!!!!

You complained and the staff let the other passengers know there was a complaint. Wasn’t hard for them to figure it out.
Snitches get stitches. Maybe try minding your own business? Seriously, you never know who you snitch on and people get killed and their houses blown up. Just mind your own business. Close the patio door for the 3 mins and mins your business you baby.
